I've gotten quite a bit of stuff from bodyartforms. For a while now I've bought seconds of Glasswear Studios stuff from them since I've been moving up in size. I think I'll stay at 5/8 for a while so now I can build a little collection. I'm treating myself to some Omerica Organic wood plugs for my friends wedding. Either plain olive wood or these: I have some Glasswear Studios planet plugs (one of the nebulas), but there were seconds and aren't very bright. I've love to get a set that was brighter like these. I have Anatometal tunnels that I love. And someday I'll have some stuff made by Relic Stoneworks. I've known Leo since I was an angsty teenager and he's one of the nicest guys around. They make gorgeous stuff that makes me salivate every time I look through their website.

I'm glad you started this thread! I was just thinking about finding other places to buy jewelry and stuff from besides BAF because they seem kind of pricey at times and here you are with a thread with two other places that appear reputable!

Heart on Sleeve do mainly custom stuff, but do sell some plugs on Etsy. It's all so pretty! I wish I had an occasion to wear things this nice. But now that I think I've stretched as far as I want to, I guess I can justify buying prettier things... just in case.

I lost a plug last night, so now I have to buy myself some new ones, so I'm going to get these kitty ones http://www.omericaorganic.com/plug-9%20LIVES.php

those are super cute! I'm normally cheap, but my ears are super sensitive, so if I don't wear nice wood ones they get smelly and itchy. I never really knew until I bought some nice wood plugs 2 years ago and my ears haven't been red or swollen at all since then!
I have to go back to wearing metal ones until I get my new ones in the mail, which is a bummer since it's winter and my ears get so cold with metal plugs!

I completely agree. In September I got some olive wood Omerica plugs and my ears have never been so happy. I have other plugs but I love these so much I don't bother changing them.

oh nice, perfect timing. if anyone needs 2 black niobium d-rings in 12 ga where the flat part is 5/8" long and overall is about the size of a quarter, lemme know. i got them for $32, but i can't return them, so whatever you want to pay is fine (even if it's nothing) i never wore them, but BAF won't accept returns on opened baggies. (it's totally my fault. i thought the measurement was taken from diameter, and i asked for baggie consolidation, and wanted to wear something that was in the same baggie without waiting for more shipping.) at least i got BAF to be more descriptive in the item listing. (also, there's a small spot on one of them where the black didn't adhere at all, but that can be mostly hidden with placement.) http://www.bodyartforms.com/productdeta ... uctID=9640

I have to go back to wearing metal ones until I get my new ones in the mail, which is a bummer since it's winter and my ears get so cold with metal plugs! Strange! I only have 3 pairs of wooden ones, and one pair always makes my right ear red and swollen! Not sure what type of wood it is, but the edges of the plugs are kind of sharpish, which might have something to do with it. Also, when it's freezing outside I either cover my ears with earmuffs when wearing metal tunnels, I take them out or I simply wear non-metal tunnels/plugs. I've heard too many horror stories about lost lobes.

Oh man this thread is fun but it makes me think we should make a 'post pictures of your stretchy-ears' thread. Yes.

Also I have these new glass plugs that I love and get so many comments on, and they are the only ones I have in this higher size, but yeah, I'm missing the wood. Itchy! I have to actually, like, clean these ones.

I'm a bridesmaid in Boyfriend's sister's wedding later this year. She's a super girly girl and is dressing us all in pink and sparkles, so I'm thinking of getting either these: Or these: Both from Etsy. I like the first ones better, but I think she might prefer the second ones.

I used to have a ton of holes in my head, but I pretty much only buy plugs/tunnels anymore, since the only other jewelry I wear is a nostril ring. Pretty much only from www.onetribe.nu. I love all their wood and stone stuff.

Creep, have you ever gotten anything from the One Tribe grab bag? I'm really tempted by quality stuff for $12.

I've been buying from BAF for years and years, they have great customer service, a good selection, and after you spend a certain amount you get 10% off every order. Not to mention that they have secret coupon codes for every holiday, and the entire month of December they have a public code for 25% off.
My jewelry buying has gone way down over the past few years, since I haven't stretched my ears in a very long time and I have quite a few plugs. I wear everything but acrylic because I have an immediate, itchy reaction to it. If I wear steel plugs for more than two days, itch. The only wood stuff I have are hanging pieces so I always take those out before I go to bed.
I kind of want to stretch my ears a little bigger, but i've amassed so many plugs! I know I could sell them and fund plugs in a new size but i'm so, so lazy.

MBM, do you have pics of any of the hanging ones you have? I've never had any, but I've always wanted some. I just don't know what to get.
