The rep that I ended up talking to was super helpful. She said that she herself doesn't use items that contain animal ingredients. Also, when I asked about specific ingredient lists she said that she's happy to answer questions directly. I put her email address in the update on Logical Harmony - http://www.logicalharmony.net/updates-f ... ngredients

But it's still not true that all of their treatments are vegan, we listed one that has gelatin and one that has lanolin.

I would email her and ask. Since the ingredient lists weren't from Orly directly, there is the chance that they may not be accurate. Or, perhaps Orly's definition of treatments is different than what you or I or another retailer considers a treatment.

Woh, reading all this made me sad, but it sounds like it was a misunderstanding/miscommunication on their part.

I have checked with Orly Australia in the past, and I am pretty sure they contact the USA when they want answers. I've been told a couple of times that Nailtrition and Nail Defence contain gelatine (ingredients lists found online state gelatine or hydrolysed collagen), but I was assured everything else was vegan.

The list probably needs updated, I think calx was keeping on top of it before - does anyone see a company that needs to be removed besides Sinful Colors? Any that we can add?

We can add Picture Polish...that's all I can think of right now.

I bought polish from this company at Renegade in SF - all of it is vegan:

We can add Rescue Beauty Lounge, at one point I was in contact with Ji because the ingredient labels said they may contain guanine, Ji checked with their current chemist who said none of the formulations created since she had been with the company contained guanine, and now the labels no longer list guanine at all.

crepe! I didn't order anything during the 50% off sale, because of the guanine. Maybe she'll have another one? In a few years, probably

Sorry, I hadn't wanted to post anything definitive because the chemist wasn't sure about the older shades from before she worked for the company, so I was pretty much a closet RBL buyer and a guilty bad vegan about it, and it was only when I got my polishes from the sale that I noticed guanine had been removed from the label.

i got this back:
We do not test our products or ingredients on animals and to the best of our knowledge neither do our suppliers. Additionally, Hellebore (our spring green micro-glitter) is the only non-vegan color we sell. Hope that helps!
