Is anyone aware of hair dye that isn't tested on animals/isn't made from animals that one can get at a walgreens/whole foods/grocery store?
Are there any major hair dye brands that are inadvertently vegan?
Thanks!

I ended up going with Ion, some of their products say 100% vegan on the front. I don't know about the hair dyes though. I will look that up and get back to you all about that. Thanks for your suggestions thus far!!

naturtint can be found at whole foods and online. i'm pretty sure rusk color is vegan & they do not test. paul mitchell and pravana don't test, but they contain lanolin & beeswax, most pravana products contain silk.

Aveda, but that's salon colour only. That's what I get done and it's goooorgeous.

You mentioned you were looking for a nice auburn color- something like the henna sold at LUSH might be worth considering!
