I have ~$40 to spend on a nice pair of shoes tomorrow! I need them for the night when I'll be going dancing with my friends for my birthday. I like Marshalls on Broadway but they had only black slingbacks, and I'm looking for a nice pump with a platform that is either black, neutral, or some fun color that matches my dress. Where do you guys find a bargain?

There is also a DSW in Union Square that has a lot of clearance stuff (they carry Madden Girl stuff which is mostly vegan and cute). For super trendy and cheap shoes, I sometimes hit up Rainbow just to see what they've got. Not very good quality, but sometimes they have something cute.

I've tried both of those stores in Union Square and Shoemania isn't my kind of cheap for what they are, and DSW always has nice stuff but I couldn't find anything in my size! I did happen to find a wonderful pair of boots two weeks before this post for everyday wear. I would try Rainbow and even Strawberry next time but I was hoping there'd be some stores off the main strip for some sweet heels? You guys read my mind though!
I'll try PEMA the next time I'm in Wburg!

:) do it! A really nice Tibetan family owns it - they fully support a school in India for Tibetan refugees with the proceeds.
