Hello ladies and/or gents, For someone who is largely unskilled in the application of makeup, I own a veritable smorgasbord of Fyrinnae loose shadows (it's probably not THAT many, but remember - I am the unskilled). I was thinking of trying out Illamasqua's Sealing Gel to help make them into a long wearing eyeliner. Does anyone know whether or not it is vegan? http://www.illamasqua.com/shop/products ... ealing-gelOr, if anyone has any other suggestions as to my query? Thanks for any potential help!

- AQUA (WATER)
- ACRYLATES/OCTYLACRYLAMIDE COPOLYMER
- PROPYLENE GLYCOL
- POLYESTER-5
- TRIETHANOLAMINE
- PHENOXYETHANOL
- METHYLPARABEN
- HYDROXYETHYLCELLULOSE
- ETHYLPARABEN
- PROPYLPARABEN
I'm kind of new to checking if cosmetic ingredients are vegan - I've kind of just stuck to the Urban Decay vegan paw print, and OCC Lip Tars, really!

Yeah, but I don't always know if all the ingredients in things like makeup are vegan. It's hard to keep track of all those chemicals, and lots of them might or might not be vegan depending on the source. I don't think they test, but I'm not sure if that product is vegan. I think urban decay has one (or used to have one? I can't find it on their site.), but I haven't tried it personally. I don't know if you've tried this, but mixing a bit of loose eyeshadow with some water actually works pretty well. I've heard that mixing it with pure glycerin works even better, but again, I haven't tried it. I hope someone else can answer your question better.

I was sure this was spam, and it totally took me back to our KAPOP days.

Thanks, eatsbabies, I appreciate it! I might have a look in to the pure glycerin, also. I do have the UD Transforming Potion and have used it with a couple of Sugarpill's loose shadows. I feel they are a lot less complex than Fyrinnae's loose pigments, but I will give it a go and see how it turns out.

Illamasqua's policy is no testing by themselves or suppliers. Not all their products are vegan, but they apparently strive from non animal ingredients as much as possible.
I've noticed Carmine in a lot of their pigmnets, but I think a lot of their products are Vegan. I have the sealing gel and I think it's pretty awesome, especially compared to others I've used.
