Hi Guys,

I am going to a big concert in a few weeks, its a 3 day long festival actually.

My fiancee will be carrying a backpack, but I really need a bag to carry some essential stuff in, in case we get seperated (phone, some money, MAKEUP! haha).

I hate carrying purses or backpacks since I will be dancing a lot and the temperature will be around 95-105 every day.

Last year I carried a leather hip bag that I had for years, and it was really useful. Especially since I didnt have to worry about it, it was always attached to me! However, I dont want to carry a leather purse again this year. and it was not a very pratical shape really

but they are way to expensive for me. I am trying to stay under $50 (hopefully under!). And I like the fake leather look, especially the black one from the above seller (http://www.etsy.com/listing/86387210/hi ... waist-pack) It seems to be very cute, functional, and will STAY ON all day long (14 hour days)

I am trying to do some searches for 'vegan hip bag' or purse or whatever..but I am not getting any good results. I just get results for "hip" bags (meaning cool)

Anyway, help me PPK! do you have some vegan bag sites that you like that may have something like this???

Those are cute but they are basically a form of a fanny pack.

Ooh, I like that one! I might get one for when I go out dancing. I still need a black vinyl wristlet thingy but this would be great for the nights when I wear jeans.

I think this should be the thread where we bring back the fanny pack.

eta: I don't mean that sarcastically...I think in the world of huge cell phones and other crepe fanny packs would be super handy for not having to juggle a purse along with my other stuff.

I love hip bags/fanny packs/bum bags whatever.

I was only semi-sarcastic about the pink bag at raves...I have worn a similar one to an EDM festival (refuse to call it a rave when it is legal...raves are underground! i used to be a raver. sorry end rant)

I have an awesome big one I take on day hikes for all my water bottles and stuff

I am usually inebrieated at concerts so they come in handy.

HAHA last year at coachella I spent a half an hour freaking out looking for my purse until i realized it was attached to my hip. My friends were videotaping it. crassholes.
