All the stores that carry cute underwear only make itsy bitsy ones, not nearly big enough to cover my big asparagus. And the plus size stores only carry granny pantaloons! Are there any good online retailers? agreed. finding cute, vegan undies and bras is damn near impossible. while i'm not exactly plus sized (i'm a 12/14) i have a 38DD cup size so i tend to shop plus sized for my dresses and blouses and have my friend alter them i'm digging this thread. i love to go online shopping, fill my basket and then just log off my computer before getting the credit card out. it might be crazy but it fills my shopping urges

I'm loving this thread, thanks so much for sharing all the cute stuff! I'm a size 16 and have been for years. (If you're Canadian) Zellers has a line by Alfred Sung that I've got a bunch of stuff from it, I find it work appropriate but still cute. Their Jeans are the best if you are looking for some nice skinny jeans that are comfortable, but they only go up to 16 (although it is a true 16). I have them in both black and dark blue and they are pretty much the only jeans I wear right now. I used to wear Old Navy Jeans when I was a size 18, but when I dropped a dress size I found the cuts stopped fitting as well as they did when I was bigger. Oh and I totally jumped gleefully on the jeggings band-wagon. The combination of having a few dresses that are super short (almost just long tops) and living in a cold climate (jeggings are way warmer than nylons!). If you are looking for cute undies, Torrid online is great. I've been really happy with what I've got from them and they always have a sale on their undies. I've also been really happy with the ones they have at Arie (American Eagle basically). Their XL comfortably fits a true size 16 and they have lots of cute styles.

The new spring dresses at eShakti are so cute! http://www.eshakti.com/clothsrpage.asp? ... agecount=1I don't even wear dresses and I want them all! I was planning to stick all my tax return in the bank, but I think some of it might be spent on dresses and shoes.

I totally love these: It's hard to see on the purple, but it's got an embroidered cityscape around the bottom of the skirt.

I also like to get men's trunks and women's tops so I don't feel like I am walking around naked.

Torrid's selection is pretty crappy, but at least Victoria's Secret has some solid color tankinis: http://www.victoriassecret.com/swimwear/tankinis?pageAt=allThey're stuff is always so super expensive though.

They're expensive, but I get most of my swimwear from Junonia because they have the best support I've ever found and I'm not into super girly swimwear.

Just a heads up that Lucielu has quite a few of their dresses on sale now.
Also a heads up that I may be needing help picking out a dress soon as the big 4-0 is approaching in a couple months and my sister is wanting to throw me a big party/dance.

Is it really worth buying an expensive suit if I'm not a beachy person anyway? I just don't want to be in a situation where I'm like-- ah well, no bathing suit, so feel pressured to have to go get one from target or something. I want to feel comfortable in the suit I have... but what if I never wear it! It's so lame.

Some of these suits go up to 2X, and are really cute if you like that retro pin-up look http://www.pinupgirlclothing.com/swimwear.html

If your size doesn't fluctuate much a good quality suit can be used for years, so in the long run it may be a better value. So it just depends what's the most important (and most do-able) with your current situation.

My size does fluctuate, but lately it's been going down. I'm just still not sure, and it's getting so hot here already. It was over 70F today.
Has anybody seen a zip up hoodie with sleeves that go almost to the elbow? I don't like short sleeves or 3/4 sleeves... just that weird above the elbow length! I usually just wear a super thin zip up jacket with the sleeves rolled up over a tank top in the summer, but it's kind of a pain to keep the sleeves up.

OMG Squeeeee!! eshakti ROCKS! Custom fit is my DREAM as I take after my somewhat zaftig Polish ancestors and have the giant booty of doom, but am somewhat smallish across the bust and shoulders. Not to mention, retro style is my THING. I'm going to order a dress as a birthday present to MYSELF (birthday is next month) :)

I think Esther Williams has lots of plus size swim suits, and they're retro 40s fabulous, so I think they would look really good on bigger girls.
