Are those forever21's shoes too? Because those shoes with the shorts a gorgeous! I actually like the shorts too. I'm short and have no hips/bum so they might be long enough. Now my tummy is another story...

I imagine so....lately looking at their shoes on their site I haven't seen any animal products in them, which is awesome! Maybe i slightly "floaty" top over shorts would be cute? Or a thing like that lacey cover-up over a shirt?

I ordered from eshakti today and they sent me a coupon code for $20 off: ETI62JOC1OEI . If any of you haven't ordered from eshakti before and want to, the website says that my coupon code is good for anybody who hasn't ordered for them yet. So you could get, for example, $20 off a $25 skirt.

What do you think? Honestly! I tried to make this kind of boring shirt dress into something.

Thank you for this! I've been wanting to order from eshakti for awhile now and keep putting it off. I'm going to have a look and see if there's anything that catches my eye.

It looks cute, but I would have worn it with a more narrow belt or even without a belt. I'm a big fan of leggings under dresses too!

Not loving the belt, but the rest is fabulous. I like the grey with the dress.

Sizes go up to 25 and there are more colors! They're on clearance.

I love these! But I'm wary. I have giant thighs and a not as big waist. I have problem with pants all the time. The "stretch" has me hopeful though. But I wish thigh measurements were included in sizing charts for pants!

The waist thing can often be a really easy/cheap fix at a tailor. I did that on some things because I had to buy 28s for my hips, but my waist only needed 26s or even 24s.

GK, I've seen that top too, and I think I'd like it better without the belt. That is one fantastic belt though!

Ok, this isn't really dress coveting because I pulled it out of my closet, but since y'all have had to hear about me trying to decide what to wear to my party tonight, I decided to post it. This is also proof for my stylist that my new asymmetric cut WAS straight before I left the house. It's really humid and rainy and I doubt that it will be by the time I get there. I'll be wearing strappy silver sandals with it.

Hey, Jess, look at how well that Yodel My Cell Phone matches!!

ETA: It's hard to tell, but the beads on that necklace are transparent bright purple. Come to find out, my mom's got some great vintage costume jewelry in her box!

deearess: I love that outfit and it is perfect with the nails! The purple goes great too. Yodel looks like it might have ended up a better match than Dating a Royal would have been.

Hope you have fun!

Thanks! It's definitely a better match. YAY! I was wanting Royal because I hadn't decided for sure what I was wearing and it would have gone ok with any of the ones I was considering.

That looks super comfy D! And the color is great.

I wore it with the belt today and got like a million compliments. So maybe it looked better in person? At any rate I know have a super red belt to wear. Its from Torrid, they have good belts.

It's also subjective. I tend to generally not like large belts anyway. I bet you looked great.

That better in person thing happens a lot :) And it is definitely subjective like LW said...obviously I like flowy.
It is super comfy. If y'all ever get the chance to wear one of these things it's fantastic.

Thanks, I let my stylist go at it. He asked me if he could go a little crazy so that nobody would believe I just turned 40. I was all over that idea!

I don't believe you're 40, so it works. I just turned 30, and you don't look older than me.

I normally LOVE all my clothes flowy, but Im trying to step out of my comfort level and spice things up a bit. Im still used to dressing myself for when I was bigger.

It really is! I just started to wear leggings and dresses. So much more comfortable than wearing jeans all of the time! PP, you are a litle hottie youself!

I'm placing a custom sized order from eShakti today and holding my breath. I hope they get the fit right. I'm a just a little bigger than their largest size so I'm counting on a custom fit.

I'm getting this dress for my cousin's wedding in August. I'm having them put cap sleeves instead of sleeveless, just because. Image

Also, they finally have this dress back in teal so I'm getting this one as well. I've been coveting it for months. I'll have to get a shrug or a little bolero to go over it, since there isn't a strapless bra known to man that can contain my bodacious boobage.
