Yes, Modcloth is fairly quick to ship - and I believe they're located on the east coast (but maybe they have multiple locations?), so if you'll be on the same side of the country it shouldn't take too long at all.

Anyone wanna help me find a size 14 silver dress to wear to a wedding. I feel like I've looked everywhere online and I'm not coming up with much. No sequence just light silver.

I ordered a bunch of stuff from Torrid when they were having a 30% off sale, so I own more clothes now! I'm gonna have to take a couple of things back to the store to try to exchange because I misjudged size, but most of it fits! I still only own jeans though (and a couple of dresses), so I'm looking for trousers and skirts I like and I found this skirt:

I love it sooo much!

Guys, I found several "new to me" plus retailers that have cool designs and fabrics while working on a guest post at Vilda Magazine. Some, I listed because others may not have heard of them (ASOS and SimplyBe) but there are some newbies (Navabi, Mynt 1792, etc.) Below is a link, the list is about half-way down in the post.

My new fave is Navabi but they are pricey compared to Torrid and Modcloth. I'm saving up for a few lustful things.

Maybe if we make enough noise, the vegan houses will start making plus sizes too.

Thank you so much for this! I've saved it because I can never everywhere I should look when I'm shopping.

Also, skirts like this make me wish I still worked in an office:

Ladies, beware SWAK designs belts. I ordered 2 faux belts and they smell exactly like leather, have the same little hair holes like leather, and one has fur on it. Even if they think they requested faux from their "made in China" manufacturers, there are too many stories of China swapping out fake fur for real. My gut is roiling over this. I never would have ordered them. And they're sale items so I can only get an exchange. ugh.

We need to band together and create a Vaute Couture level, plus-size, vegan store!!!! Who's with me? Of course, we'll need a benefactor. <sob>

So I'm kind of disappointed, kind of not but Costco looks to carry some plus size clothes now. I used to be able to buy some stuff from Costco but then gained weight, so I couldn't fit what they had anymore. I was looking forward to losing weight and be able to fit into the clothes again. Today I went and noticed exercise pants up to size 3x and jeans up to size 24. There were some tops as well that were up to 3x.

I bought a couple 1x things there in the past couple of years. I love Costco clothes and actually get the most compliments when I wear those clothes!

BOOBER THAT DRESS LOOKS SO GOOD. You're making me want to overcome my fear of ordering from modcloth.

Poopie! do it! their sizes are weird but just make sure you look at the sizing charts to make sure their size = the size you want!
I have a couple items from them that are just super nice and well-made to boot!

Boober, that dress is so cute on you!
I have ordered a few things from modcloth but have been really disappointed in the quality and wonky sizing. A couple things I bought have been really chintzy and almost tissue-paper thin, like a costume and not an actual piece of clothing. Also, the sizing is SO WEIRD. I had to buy a skirt in 5X, meanwhile I'm typically a US size 16/1X. I don't care about vanity sizing or anything but that shiitake is way off.

oh no! I may have just lucked out because I've only ever bought 3 things, but yeah sizing is crazy! I've been everywhere from a size 8 to a 18 on that site at any given time. I won't buy anything without listed measurements for sizing because it's just so crazy!

I really, really want this dress:

http://www.modcloth.com/shop/dresses/my ... -pie-dress

and this cardigan:

http://www.modcloth.com/shop/cardigans/ ... n-in-honey

but it's soooo much money and I'm afraid neither of them will fit.

Now the problem is I keep finding more things I want but I really can't afford a bunch of adorable dresses I have very little occasion to wear. But, you know, ADORABLE.
