I'm glad that I'm not the only person extremely happy about this. When I called my mom she thought Wilson's visa had gone through! Nope, just mascara!

You were the first person I thought of! I don't have a ton of UD and i'm not about to skip off to the store to stock up, but considering how many Ulta's are popping up, which has really increased how many people can easily get UD and have been exposed to it, this makes me very happy.

So does this mean UD on Oh, Pretty Vegan, or do you still want to exercise caution?

When I go home tonight, I am going to make sweet, sweet love* to my mascara... my wonderful, amazing mascara that I thought was gone from me forever.

Definitely switching from MAC to UD at this point. Just need to find some decent UD red lipstick shades that I like.

Thessaly, if you liked the MAC matte lipsticks try the Wet n Wild Mega Last Lip Color. The Mega Last lip colors are all vegan. They're slightly creamier than the MAC mattes, and on me (I'm a gloss/lipstick/balm eater unfortunately) it last longer on me too. They have a pretty big color selection, and they're $1.99 each. I have lipsticks from MAC, Makeup Forever, Zuzu Luxe, Lorac, and my Wet n Wild Mega Last are my #1. http://wnwbeauty.com/product.php?cid=16&pid=58&subid=28

Wow! Way to go, angry facebookers and emailers and whichever organizations may have also been pressuring them to do the right thing. I'm still a little wary of them, but at least I don't have to order mascara from the UK.

I saw this on FB earlier and skipped out to buy mascara. I have been scraping by with what I had ever since this news came out and I had yet to find another brand I like. YAY I don't have to give my addiction up.

Ugh, good. I don't wear much make-up, but I need my UD eyeliner and mascara for scary dark eyeball stuff.

I will have to check these out! I always just kind of wrote off the drug store stuff as not vegan so this hasn't been on my radar!

Wn'W has a lot of vegan products , I've only used the lipstick and nail polish (love both) though so can't vouch for the rest. I'll probably try the mascara one my Zuzu Luxe runs out .
