BIC Cristal For Her Ball Pen, 1.0mm, Black, 16ct (MSLP16-Blk)

I write with a Harley Davidson orange waterman fountain pen that was advertised as being a great gift for "the man in your life."

I manage ok, but maybe a pen for women would improve the legibility of my handwriting.

Hahaha, my mom bought me "Bic for Her" pens a while ago and I thought it was ridiculous. They're good pens, but they don't write any better or fit the grooves of my womanly hands better than other, gender-neutral pens.

oh my god!! did someone spend their whole day doing that? I read and read and then realized the whole right side was full of even better comments....

" I don't know why they didn't put a clearer warning on the label, they really should have because if you are a boy and use this pen you put yourself at great risk. My little brother turned into a unicorn after I lent him one..."

I was just going to make a stupid joke about how i hope the damn things vibrate.

I'm just angry that it isn't glitter ink.

Also, I saw a blog or website a while ago dedicated to amazon reviews gone wild. There are a lot of products out there that sort of get caught in the tornado of amazon reviewers.

They make me think of the Bic razors marketed towards women vs. the ones marketed towards men. They're pretty much the same exact thing, but the ones for women come in weird pastels and neons while the ones for men come in bold neutrals and primary colors. It makes just as much (or as little...) sense for them to extend this marketing to their other products.

I like the one lady that was pissed about all the "snarky" reviews. Especially since she still had to qualify herself " I'm not some silly goose that thinks it's funny to make fun of a product. I'm an independent woman who rides motorcycles, drives an 18-wheeler, who takes care of her loving husband and mother, can take down big game for the table, and still be feminine."

Yeah, seriously. How are they going to market womanly pens that don't glitter and smell good? Scratch and sniff ink?

Anyway, my hands suck, so I need big, fat pens and pencils to not get hand cramps. Apparently real women don't have early threats of arthritis.

With that said, I'm a sucker for cute but non-functional stuff. Like my monster flash drive.
