I'm sure most of us have been reading about the wonders of good gut bacteria recently.
Well, now a small startup has a bacterial solution that looks, smells, tastes like water that they hope will reduce the need for soap and shampoo. The bacteria in it are natural and eat ammonia, which is what makes sweat stink. The bacteria also do some other healthy things.
One of the women in their study is a journalist and she decided to write about her experience not using soap, only this solution for a month.
Her hair got a little greasy, but a few of her skin problems cleared up.
Having recently gotten into the whole gut bacteria thing and making water kefir at home I found the article to be very interesting.
