Has anyone found any Swedish sandals/clogs like Hasbeens, sans leather?

This is what I'm looking for: http://www.swedishhasbeens.com/braided-high-p-9.html

I like those! I've never seen them before, but I like! I was googling around and these seem to be close-ish.

Why are the original versions SO expensive? over $200? that's nuts!

thanks IjdI! those are very cute, but not quite what i'm looking for--I want open toes/heels. i'm stunned these are so hard to find! i got these in red: http://www.zappos.com/madden-girl-twizzle-coral-paris and they're cute, but i want the big chunky swedish heel.

we need a ppk shoe designer.

Have you tried Jambu or J-41? They aren't all vegan, but some of their shoes are.

These are crazy-expensive, but they look similar to what you posted above.

Those are really cute! These aren't exactly what you're looking for, but they look pretty nice (and are on sale!):

thank you everyone for your suggestions! i love looking at shoes.

this thread has taught me that i am picky. i love a lot of what you sent, but there's something about the shape/texture/look of the hasbeens that i just adore. i'm surprised, given how popular they are, that there are no knockoffs at H&M, ModCloth, etc....

merci!

They collaborated with H&M last year I think. I have no idea if the shoes were vegan though. You might have luck finding some on ebay?

I am with you! Love the hasbeens! I was so disappointed that the collab was leather. I haven't seen a good knock off of these, but I'll keep an eye out. There are vegan sanita and dansko, but they're more professional looking and less Swedish looking.

Also, coveting these: http://www.lorisshoes.com/shoes/dv8-lilly.html?from=4

(how do I post the photos in the body of the post?)

I must warn you: shoes with wooden heels are a mess to walk in. I had a pair, and had to give them away because they hurt my ankles and knees.. :( i know a few other who have had similar problems...

And the first pair are very similar to the Has Beens. Nice work!

sad news! the sbicca ones are not faux leather, even though zappos lists them as such. i received them in the mail, and they seemed very real, so i checked on the sbicca website, where they are clearly listed as leather. i've no idea how zappos messed that one up. back they go.... perhaps i'll turn my attention to the amazing geometric heels....
