Hey folks -
I'm looking for a product to style my hair with, I'm a fellow, and I have thinning hair up top. I'd like something not too heavy, and something that isn't crispy after applied, but not super oily either. Suggestions? Thanks a bunch.

I dont have thinning hair but I can tell you that from what you describe you like, you'd probably like the Giovanni paste/wax. It's in a little pomade tub. There's two slightly different varieties and both are good, I'd try a little tester of both if I were you and decide that way.

My husband is also on the thinning hair train, and we clipper his hair short too. It might just be my inexplicable lifelong crush on Bruce Willis talking, but I think a fella with thinning hair who keeps it close cropped is crazy hot.

My partner has passed from thinning to bald on top and what he does have he either shaves off completely or clippers to a millimeter or so and it really suits him.
