I can't get down with thongs on a regular basis with clothes. In the bedroom is one thing, under my jeans, NO. Which leads to my question for those of you who wear them out in the world. Do just fee horny and turned on all the time with them on?

I hate em. Maybe its because im not thin, so i probably dont have the appropriate body shape for wearing them, but Ive never gotten past the permanent wedge feeling.

I have a hard time feeling horny/turned on when I have a wedgie.
But seriously, I only ever wear them when required by a garment. Which isn't often.
I will occasionally buy one because the fabric is cute and I've forgotten what it feels like to wear one.

I'm not thin either. Maybe it is a thin person thing? I think my mind automatically associates thongs with sex. And I don't think I've ever worn any piece of clothing that would require a thong. But I lots of people who wear them all the time so I was wondering if I was missing something.

I am not thin either, and I wear them. If they are the right size, that wedge-y feeling does not bother me and then I get used to it. If they are even a little bit too small, then they will pull and dig all day.
There is no association for me of thongs with sex. Most pantaloons I would consider sexy are way more covered up.

I used to wear the hanky panky thongs all the time, pretty comfortable for a thong. Now I am a full-on granny pantaloon wearer. The more coverage the better!

I don't mind them, but I don't automatically associate them with sex, so maybe that helps. I started with g-strings and have only ever bought thinner-material normal ones, so they don't feel at all like a wedgie to me. (Unlike tangas, which are wedgie-central!)
I'm also medium-bodied, not heavy but not thin. And got my first thongs when I was a couple sizes bigger.

Not a fan at all. They always get all up in my bum. Uncomfortable! I've discovered I like bikini cut underwear the best.

I was anti-thong for so so long. Finally I gave in. It took about a week and I got used to them, now I hardly ever wear anything else. I cannot STAND pantaloon lines. Thongs take care of that. I wear a lot of slacks at work, and dresses, and pantaloon lines would not look right. Honestly, you just get used to it.
also, you are now allowed to make the "thong Song' your theme song.

littlebear wrote: full-on granny pantaloon wearer Me too! A few weeks ago I was walking down the street and a woman a few paces ahead of me walked over a steam grate and her skirt went flying straight up in the air! All I could think was thank the Lard she didn't have a thong on! Not cause I didn't want to see her asparagus, but for her own sake. I don't think she even realized that she exposed herself to a whole city block of people.

also, you are now allowed to make the "thong Song' your theme song. Seamless full coverage pantaloons that fit properly won't give you VPL. I can't stand VPL either! The trick is to not buy underwear that cuts your bum in half. It has to be all or nothing.

I wear them all the time, under whatever. I don't wear normal thongs, though, they have to be G-string because otherwise it's just too much fabric back there. And I generally find them as comfortable as normal underwear because all of it kind of rides up my asparagus anyway. Might as well be the smallest piece of fabric.

The invention of the thong was also the invention of the thong song.

I used to wear the cotton ones under certain pieces of clothing, and they were pretty comfortable, but now I'm all about low-riding hipsters. All of the coverage, none of the lines. Also, is someone is staring so hard at my butt they can detect a line, maybe they should reconsider their priorities. I mostly just came here to talk about this: just mumbles wrote: The invention of the thong was also the invention of the thong song. but was beaten to it.

I don't like them, I think they're ugly (sorry if you're a wearer) and I'm all about the boyshorts.

love them. wear them under jeans, trousers, shorts, gym and yoga clothes. under skirts i wear boy shorts. don't feel the thongs at all, and they leave no vpl, which even the most properly fitting seamless knickers do. you can't layer fabric on fabric with no mark at all.
why would anyone be turned on/feel horny from wearing at thong? this makes no sense at all to me.

I think thongs are the most comfortable type of underwear and yet I rarely wear them because I find them unnattractive. And I NEVER wear them when I think someone is going to see me in my underwear. I realize this maybe makes me weird.

With great power comes great responsibility.

I also think boyshorts are the least comfortable.
I have controversial underwear opinions.
