A lot of stuff on my list is practical. I just moved into an unfurnished apartment and have none of the basics. I don't even have a mattress! I'm camping out on the wood floor, lol. Still, I'd love to hear what everyone is hoping vegan Santa will bring them. And perhaps I'll be able to steal a few of your desired books, video games and other stuff for my list.

I'm asking my parents for a few months' membership to my yoga studio, and that's it. Those are the only people I really exchange gifts with.

I'm asking people to donate to Best Friends. I have been fortunate, financially, and buy the things I want. And I'm cultivating a life with fewer things as it is. So Best Friends, it is!

An actual camera. I'm tired of trying to take photos in the sunlight with my phone when I have no idea what will be in the frame. That's all I want :).

Or even just a cell phone with a camera on it. Folks here have been inspiring me to try out the online dating scene but I don't have a recent photo for it. I've gained like ten pounds or more since I (for the most part) quit smoking and last took a photo. I don't want to misrepresent myself.

What I really want is a fireplace, but I know the chance of that happening is zero. I can't exactly ask the relatives to buy me a fireplace for xmas! I know they're a lot of trouble and bad for the environment and everything, but the house I grew up in had a fireplace, and sitting in front of a fire in the winter is just so nice.
I will probably ask for cash, which is super boring, but it's what I need most right now.

Vegan Eats World, warm socks, an Occupational Therapy textbook, and an expansion pack for Settlers of Catan. I'll probably get cash and loads of chocolate from my extended family that lives in Switzerland, since it's too expensive to ship gifts. I like it better that way anyway, because what I really need is tuition and grocery money (and the warm socks, since I've already gotten minor frostbite this season).

An IMac or MacBook Air, stoopidly expensive DSLR lenses, an external flashgun (with remote firing of course)... you know, something I have no chance of getting. My mum has offered to buy me a new external HD, which would be pretty good to have, I need a bigger one for backing up the (on it's last legs) MacBook properly.
The Mr & I decided to forgo presents in favour of quality time together. I've booked us tickets to a comedy stage act at the theatre and he's treating us to pre-show dinner.

A really nice grey cardigan sweater.
I don't really want or need anything and would rather my parents do something nice for themselves for a change.
