I was wrapping gifts to give to my family (we are celebrating late) and I noticed the Big Buddha bag I bought my mom from Macy's (that I have kept in it's plastic wrap/tissue paper up till this point) is missing the hang tags and the stitches are already coming loose at the seam & a few are missing and the trim is pulling away...I hope I can just get this sorted at Macy's before the weekend.

how shoddy...

Ugh that sucks! At least that's one of the benefits of shopping at a big store like Macy's - they should definitely replace it for you.

I had to wait to post about this because it was super top secret, but my husband and his sisters have been scheming for about a year to give their parents an all-expense paid vacation to Hawaii for their 30th anniversary in November. We got generous contributions from all of their family and friends, and put all the names in a giant card which we gave them today. They have never been on a vacation together! They never even went on a honeymoon.

It was amazing and there was a lot of crying, especially from me!

The only other gift I gave was a customized version of my wedding album to my mom.
