I may have gone a bit overboard this year.
I ordered my partner a really nice necklace from HSN, since he used to wear those kinds of necklaces that you can get at like Spencer's for cheap quite frequently but hasn't replaced any of the ones he had that broke. I wanted to get him one that was a bit more grown up and that would last, hopefully. It's kinda dog tag shaped and has a large piece of onyx in it. Well, it was on waitlist, which every other time I've ordered something waitlisted, they really had it in stock and it shipped out immediately. I started getting paranoid that wouldn't be the case, though, so I went on Amazon and bought him a stainless steel byzantine chain and bracelet. I dunno if men do the matchy matchy thing, but individually the items are pretty unisex and not at all dainty, so hopefully he'll like it. If I notice he just shoves it in a drawer and never wears it, I'll make good use of it... Haha.

I'm making a mix CD of silly 'love'songs, like Caress Me Down/F her Softly/cream tang in My Pants (I'm going to feel really weird if no one else has heard of the last two....). We are going to a vintage cocktail tasting.

I don't really do valentine's day, as I prefer to be nice/romantic all of the time and give gifts spontaneously. That said, I got the boy a pretty kick asparagus cactus growing set a couple of weeks ago. He really dug it.

We also don't usually do Valentine's day, but...I have been angling for a puppy for a few months.
I GOT HIM LAST WEEK! His mom's a catahoula; his dad is prob a bulldog. He looks kind of like a stocky yellow lab with that chunky bulldog head- go figure. I guess I should figure out how to upload some pics, because then you could meet Sarge, the best (early) Valentine present EVER.
I will no longer dismiss Valentine's day.

I just finished working on my kinda-sorta Valentine's Day craft in a coffeeshop.

I guess I lied! My sweetheart surprised me with The Wild Box and the Intense Anatomical Hearts from Lagusta's! We call Valentine's Day Wolf Day though. :)
So spoiled!
Edited for href nonsense.
