I went with Zoya Dree. Seemed appropriate for the first day of fall.

I'm wearing Butter London's No More Waity Katie. I just got this and All Hail the Queen during the Ulta sale. I like it, but I think maybe I'm not really a glitter person. The texture irks me--I want my nail polish to feel smooth!

BL Teetotal

I wasn't sure if I'd like this - since it's hard for me to find a brown that I actually like in person (like Fash Pack - I was obsessed with it but I can't stand it on me). Teetotal is pretty good though. I like that it's on the cooler/dustier side.

My only 4 untried are all really close in color, so I just threw them all on together for the hell of it.

Image

China Glaze Cast a Spell, Glittering Garland, Holly-day and Near Dark. This picture is terrible, sorry. I don't really love any of these colors, but before I put them on I hated them all. Now, Glittering Garland and Cast a Spell are growing on me. Holly-day is just gross though. And Near Dark... I don't know. Plain black is just so much nicer, so I'm not into this dirty almost-blackness.

Haha, Near Dark is one of the first polishes I bought and I still don't know why the fork I did. Dark greens are definitely my least favorite polish color after straight up brown, but I like After Dark and Glittering Garland. I'm just rarely in the mood for that type of green.

I am really loving that "untrieds" week is kind of turning into "polishes we think are sort of uggo" week.

Haha! None of mine are uggos, I just buy polishes in handfuls so it's easy to forget to try them. I put on Branwen's Feather from BL with a layer of Zoya's Mimi to lighten it up.

...which apparently is almost the same as Zoya's Julieanne, because this is what my nails look like:

My untried is Models Own Hedkandi polish in Hedonist. I'm love with it.

Ugh, my stupid old seche vite is really gloopy and can't seem to be brought around with restore drops. It's shrunk the polish and made a right old mess. I've ordered the Orly top coat in the hope it's better.

Oooh MBM I love that one.

Also, glitterin garland might be my favorite polish ever - I love the dark greens.

I picked out Zoya Gem yesterday but haven't done my nails yet - I'll go see what unused polishes I have.

Mine is China Glaze Flying South - http://www.thepolishaholic.com/2013/07/china-glaze-on-horizon-collection.html, layered over Zoya America. Loving this one!

eta - It looks so much better over red than the white used in the link.

Your photo is private, if you go to flickr and make it public it should show up.

I like how everyone has such different colours this week!

I used Illamasqua Baptiste (purple) and Emily de Molly Harmony (glitter)

I'm on my second color this week, it's actually already chipping so i'll be going to my third probably tonight. Elation Generation, which was a spring color I picked up off of the clearance rack a few months ago. It's a jelly and indoors, the color is a little darker and the sparkles are less noticable. It's so pretty.

Unused polish huh?

Well, I tried and failed at doing some gradients this week. Depressing. They looked so awful.

Then I found this polish, China Glaze "Harvest Moon" in my polish box and I realized I have never worn it!

So here it is. I like it. It looks more orange in florescent/office lighting, but much more golden brownish in natural light. I sure did get a lot of compliments on it! Even from dudes, which is kind of cool. No, they were actually looking at my nails, not my boobies either.

Here's my second untried for the week, BL's Jack the Lad:

I like it, but probably more as a holiday/wintery color...
