I thought I should post this news. LM changed their cruelty free status. Boo on them.

This is damned annoying ... I am very fond of their loose translucent powder ...

any suggestions for a replacement? I have a shiny t-zone so always wear powder ...

I've been using the Tarte Amazonian Clay finishing powder and I like it a lot, but it's loose so I only use it when I get ready at home, and I have a pressed powder from Physician's Formula I carry out with me, which is decent but not amazing.

If you don't get breakouts from talc you should check out Kett Sett from Kett cosmetics, they have it loose and pressed, and it's seriously amazing, unfortunately it's mostly talc which doesn't agree with my skin.

Never heard of Kett but have googled them, bookmarked the site and will place an order when my current LM supply is used up ... thank you!

oh cocking hell. That's pretty much every brand in the department store now then. I think Clarins is the only CF brand now in my house of fraser, as I'm not sure about Dior and Chanel because they sell in China too.

The dept store is now a shop of sadness.

Wait.... clairins is cruelty free? Because I've given up on that because I thought they weren't.

I am 99% sure that I checked again recently and they are CF and vegan friendly. But I'm struggling to find their policy on their website now and now I'm worried, cuz I just bought a bunch of clarins stuff! GAH.

I'm on the search now too. All sorts of conflicting options out there. I think that was maybe why I didn't get anything new from them the last year. I'm praying that they are because their facial care products are amazing. Like I will go without food shopping next pay so I could get their cleanser and toner.

I had just assumed that being a luxury brand Clarins had moved into China. Curious to see what you find out.

To keep this thread on Laura Mercier I will take the clarins discussion to the general makeup thread. But so far.... not looking good.
