With short lists like that, sometimes I will just google each ingredient because it only takes a few minutes.

So I finally went into a Ross today because I was right next to it and remembered people saying it's kind of like TJ Maxx. It smelled like a ferret? And then the makeup/body/whatever selection was reeeeeeeeeeeally small. I saw some ELF cleansing cloths, so I picked those up to look at the price, because I know they're $3 and I wanted to get an idea of how good their deals are. They were four friggin' dollars and it said 'compare at $8' above that. What! They did have some Physician's Formula stuff that was really cheap, but it was all stuff I know isn't vegan. And that was about it.

They often have sets of Color Club nail polish really cheap. And I randomly found a Conair clipless curling iron at mine for $15. Basically they're like Marshall's/TJ Max were back in the day when everything was a chaotic jumble.

The sections for the makeup and stuff were big, but they had almost nothing on the shelves. Maybe it was just a bad week, i'll check again when i'm back in town at...Christmas. Oh god.

It seems like because they're so cheap the stuff gets picked over fast. I do find cute cheap dresses there. That I end up never wearing. Because I hate shaving my legs so I live in pants.

Yes, I'd love to see a Nyx vegan list.

Yeah Ross isn't great for makeup, just those cheap nail polish sets sometimes. I like Ross for cheap dresses and shoes! And so funny that you mentioned the smell because all Ross's smell like that! Last might my friend said her new scarf smelt funny and I sniffed it and said "Ross?". (it was a cute scarf though!)

I don't really know why I'm posting this, but anyway......

I have a feeling it's because I've been super stressed out lately and this is a mental distraction for me, but I've really been coveting the new Charlotte Tilbury eyeshadow palettes, especially the Dolce Vita one. I don't actually even know if it's vegan. The ingredients look pretty ok, butI don't know all of the minutiae. I usually just go for all natural makeup clearly described as vegan. Plus, I'm sure it's way out of my price range (didn't do the conversion + shipping to US, but I'm sure it's a lot). I also really want that Juice Moisturizer that's like $65. I had a sample size pot of it and really liked it, but no way can I spend that kind of cash on a small jar of moisturizer.

Have any of you tried the CT eyeshadow palettes? Please tell me they are horrible :)

Also, do you really really want stuff you know you can't afford when you are super stressed?

Well there's this:

http://wifelife.tumblr.com/post/61029824915

It's hard to find a vegan palette since there aren't a lot of all-vegan makeup companies to begin with, and the companies that make vegan products and palettes tend to have at least one thing that isn't vegan (i'm side eyeing you, Sugarpill), BUT:

http://www.sephora.com/matte-eye-shadow ... on-P290627

That palette is vegan, so if you want a palette and to treat yourself, go for that one.

And to answer that last question, yes. Actually, it seems like something I want is always on sale right at that time of the month when it's not quite payday and the dogs need food so there's no question on where the money is going. And then when we get paid, the sale is over. But it's just stuff so i'll live fine without it until it's on sale again.

Speaking of vegan palettes, this one looks vegan to me: http://www.pixibeauty.com/makeup/eye-glow-cube

I haven't emailed, but the ingredients list is pretty short and nothing is jumping out at me.

My mom refused to buy me the Electric Youth perfume. I don't even know what it smelled like, yet I'm still mad about it.

I'm so proud of myself - I went to Sephora yesterday to look at the Too Faced matte palette and left without buying it, or anything.

But it's going on my Christmas list.

They still make Exclamation! The black part is an exclamation point. They sell it at Duane Reade.
