I agree wholeheartedly.

Has anyone tried the Tarte colored clay CC primer? I think I'm going to get some next time I'm at Sephora.

So my only eye primer choice is the Fergie one? The store I got it at doesn't have it anymore and it's the only place I've ever seen it. How is the ELF eyelid primer?

I swatched the CC primer at Ulta the other day. It was interesting. I expected it to be kind of hard and clay-like (duh), but it actually felt really soft and powdery. I'm intrigued.

The ELF primer is a your mileage may vary type thing: my eyelids are waaaaaay too oily for it to help, but if your lids aren't super oily, it should work for you. Although I can't remember if the $1 primer or the mineral primer is supposed to be better...

I had the elf mineral primer, but it didn't actually do much (eye shadow looked a little better on application, but it did nothing to help keep it on). I do lose eye shadow pretty fast though (I'm not wearing any primer today and 90% of my eye make up was gone by lunchtime).

I'd love to hear if you find anything good since I've clearly failed at finding a vegan eye primer!

The Wet n Wild Fergie primer is great if you can find it.

Noooooo!!!!!! This one is the bomb-diggity. No creases, shadow colors look better, and the tube lasts f-o-r-e-v-e-r.

I didn't think about using that as an eyelid primer. It's my second choice primer already. I'll try it on my eyes. Thanks!

Gloss48 has Christopher Drummond makeup brushes right now. The prices aren't bad either, single brushes seem to mostly be on sale in the $10-$15 range, and I know they're supposed to be really nice.

That one isn't vegan. It has beeswax in it.

Damn you, Tarte! I got a sample tube of it with Lights, Camera, Lashes mascara as a free gift thing from Ulta. The ingredients aren't listed on the tube and I must have just assumed it was vegan? Maybe because the mascara is??? I don't know why.

So much for that recommendation. Won't be paying for a new tube now.

It's $10 a tube on Amazon. That's just outrageous.

Yeah that's what I paid. One seller has it for about that but then charges over $5 in shipping. I need to start looking for a Walgreens near me upstate.

I think the essential primer and the mineral primer are about the same, and I've compared them pretty much side by side. They both work okay for me, but lately I've been bothered by how my eyeshadow fades and blends together by the end of the day. The new glitter primer, though, is really nice. I haven't used it too much yet, but the few times I have my shadows have seemed brighter and they seem to crease less.

I haven't tried it, but the blinc eyeshadow primer is vegan. I had it in my cart the other day, but it got dumped.
http://www.blincinc.com/eye-shadow-primer-138.html?___store=default
http://www.sephora.com/eye-shadow-primer-P379441?skuId=1535913

I use this: http://www.sephora.com/anti-age-smoothing-eye-primer-P378102?skuId=1487404, but it's not so much an eyeshadow primer as much as an eye cream. At least that's how I use it. I dab a little on then dab a little concealer on with my ring finger. (I've been using this as a concealer, but it definitely settles into fine lines. http://www.alisonraffaele.com/luminizers.html. Found it at one of the fancy Walgreens.

I'm just here to grump on Too Faced updating their site (which design-wise is nice), but I can't see if a lot of things are vegan anymore, namely La Creme. I don't think anything else changed besides site design though, so I'm probably OK?

I don't think any of the products would've changed, but I hate how they don't list the ingredients anymore. There's still a vegan list in the FAQ but it's out of date (no la cremes, no sweetheart blushes, no better than sex, etc).

I noticed that. The vegan list on the FAQ is easier to read now, so I'll give them that. Some of the stuff had "vegan friendly" in the "See Details" and "More to Love" or "See Details" and "Ingredients", but it's not uniform or anything.

http://www.toofaced.com/p/mascaras/better-than-sex-mascara/ See Details: More to Love

http://www.toofaced.com/p/bronzers/chocolate-soleil/ See Details: Ingredients

I think I'm just in a grumpy mood, so I've picked this to be grumpy about.

Did anyone else take advantage of the 20% off tarte coupon? I'm trying BB tinted treatment 12-hour primer Broad Spectrum SPF 30 sunscreen, gifted™ Amazonian clay smart mascara, and smolderEYES™ Amazonian clay waterproof liner in gunmetal, which looks like just about my favorite eyeliner color ever. I like it when eyeliner is not quite black, brown, or gray, but some muddy mix of all of them. Not sure when they'll arrive, but I'm excited!

FWIW, I like the Too Faced BB cream, but the texture isn't my favorite. It's thick as the Alba one, but it still seems pretty thick to me. I mean, it blends in well and I like how it turns out, but I don't know. Sometimes I think I care more about how something feels when I put it on then other things.

What have you all been playing with? If US does animal testing, do we all have to move or just stop wearing makeup?

i wish tarte & too faced made shopping vegan easier...i want to know if the tarte blush & lip stuff that just came out is vegan.

anyone who has olive toned skin find an elf blush that is pigmented enough to show up on their skin? i have light skin but the blushes will not show up. i might just go with the tf leopard love!

Okay apparently I'm just really dumb today, because every time I looked at the product pages it didn't even register that "see details" was there. The brain fog is strong with this one.

Wait, the Gifted mascara is vegan? That's awesome! I didn't get anything with that coupon, but I want to pick up a few things soon: the bb primer, the brow mousse (debating between this one and the anastasia dip brow), and the green clay liner. And now the Gifted mascara.

Most of the makeup I've been playing around with lately has been indie stuff. I finally broke open a tube of Paula's Choice sheer matte tint and that's nice, but sheer is the key word. Not sure if I'll repurchase. My mascaras (Manic Panic and Tarte LCL) are just about dried up so soon I get to open up a new one... either Better Than Sex or Barry M Lash Modeling. Choices, choices.
