I've ordered from A Scent of Scandal before, and it was good, but I don't know if it was $15-per-candle good.

What are your favorite candle shops? I prefer spicy and earthy smells if that helps.

Just today, I got 2 Soy Inspiration candles-hot chocolate and mistletoe. The hot chocolate is pretty much my favorite candle scent ever. I also have a Lumia lavender candle that's pretty good, and an Estrella lemon one that I haven't used yet. They have the Soy Inspiration (and some other veggie candle) at TJ Maxx.

I really like Way Out Wax, although I'm not sure about their regional availability. Here's their site: http://www.wayoutwax.com/scents/

I have Citrus Harmony, which I love, and I think I've had their Clove scent in the past. I also love spicy and earthy and not floral/sweet.

eta: I think I had Cozy Home, not clove. Cinnamony and clovey and mm.

I like Therepe candles, you can usually find them at Marshal's for like $6-7 and they have great scents. I have raspberry patchouli and indian chai and they're both amazing.

Oh good! I need a candle thread. My favorite candle ever is Yankee Candle Macintosh, but I know that YC are probably no good so I'm desperately seeking candles.

My favourite candle is Aveda's Rainforest soy candle. But at like $30 a candle, yeah, I don't buy them often. But the scent is to die for and they last a long time.

My boyfriend bought me a Mrs Meyers soy candle over the weekend at Target, it is in the holiday section. It smells like cinnamon and cloves!

Yankee Candle makes some soy wax candles, if you can find them. My friend got me one called "Lime After Lime" (hardee har), which smells amazing (though it's definitely not fall/winter-y). I don't know if they make soy versions of all the scents, but it's worth a look!

This thread makes me sad because I'm not allowed to have candles in my room (I live in a dorm). Oh well, I guess I can smell them longingly at the store. . .

I can't even find what brand it is, but I got a new one. It's caramel praline, and it's dark brown. It's made in Waco, TX! I got a HUGE one at TJ Maxx for 4.50. It's delicious!!!

Today I went to Kohls to buy some new socks, and right as I walked in there was a huge candle display. I perused and found two brands of soy-based candles with tons of scents. I walked out with a rather sizable Pumpkin Harvest candle by Aroma-mix for only $5! Victory! Can't wait to burn it...
