I got the Sweet Earth Curry Tiger microwavable meal. It was not great, and had 20g of fat (coconut milk, I guess?). Wahhh wahhhhhhh.

I ate that one yesterday and thought the same thing. If I'm going to eat Curry Tiger, it's going to be in the burrito form. So far the only Sweet Earth frozen meal I've actually liked is the General Tso's Tofu. Also, in case anyone was wondering, the SB meats are discontinued.

We've started carrying a ton of the Fig Bars which I love. The brownie ones are good too except the mint one tastes like you're eating a brownie and brushing your teeth at the same time.

Wait wait WAIT I need that Simply Balanced korean bbq in my life regularly. Are they really gone for good? Why would they do this!

I know that at my store, they didn't seem to sell very well. No where near as much as Gardein did. To be honest, I think they can improve on the original SB meats. One of the great things about Gardein is the variety of their products. SB meats were just the same meat with different sauces and the meats could get a bit rubbery. I don't know for sure and have heard nothing about it but I think they'll come back at another time with an improved or similar product. If I hear or see of anything, I'll post about it.

I too will mourn the loss of the Korean BBQ. :( I wonder how hard it would be to make that sauce at home. So good.

I didn't care for them myself but that doesn't surprise me. Last time I saw those at my target, they were in the regular frozen meat section, which confused me (not near morningstar/gardein/whatever else)

They were in my regular meat alternative section but they had the weirdest texture and appearance. It was the Play-Doh Fun Factory version of faux meat.

I went to Target yesterday, and they had all the new Sweet Earth meals, so I grabbed four or so, haven't tried them yet. They also finally carry the Just Mayo salad dressings, but they were all out of the Ranch, which is the one I wanted to try.

I tried the Sweet Earth Chipotle Seitan, it was pretty good. I'm so lazy when it comes to seitan. I used it for the Wild Rice soup in Isa Does it.

FYI- My Target in the *northeast* now has Dave's Killer Bread!!!! I can't wait to try it and am going to pick up a loaf when I'm there again. What's kind of weird though is that it's in the system as Discontinued even though we just got it. Not sure what that's about. My local grocery store just got it in too so maybe they're just testing it out in northeast right now?
