It's NYX gold slide on pencil, set with sugarpill's goldilux. I don't think the pencil is vegan though, but you can get a similar effect by using a flesh coloured pencil and setting that with gold eyeshadow or pigment. The gold liner underneath just makes it a bit brighter.

It's such a pretty look. I looked up that pencil on Ulta and it looks vegan (they list the ingredients for all the pencils in one place so carmine was on the list but I doubt it's in that one). Next step is to email Nyx and ask about the carmine.

Oh cool. I really love those pencils. They have loads of colours and they stay put on the waterline! I think theyre a rip off of the urban decay 24/7 pencils.

Here's hoping... I'm in need of a basic black pencil that would stay put on the waterline. Seems like I'm always running out of black eyeliner in some form. I'd love to find something cheaper than Too Faced.

They are good. But even waterproof black comes off my waterline eventually. I find it best to use a liner then set it with black eyeshadow.

The last pencil I had was so dry/hard I couldn't even get it ON the waterline. I don't think I have a problem with longevity usually.

I emailed asking which colors had carmine and whether there were any other animal derived ingredients. I'll let you all know when/if I get a response.

this tarte one is the best I've ever used for the waterline.

http://tartecosmetics.com/tarte-item-Am ... w-eyeliner

goes on super easy and smooth, jet black, and doesn't move.

Interesting. I've never had success with gel liner on the waterline.

Baps, you're so gorgeous. And your look was beautiful too. I've never done an all-over dark eyelid like that, but really should experiment some time.

This is one of the highest compliments I could pay right now because I'm obsessed with perfect eyebrows - Baps, yours look amazing.

Thank you guys!!

My eyebrows are my bugbear because they're soooooo sparse and light. I love the Anastasia Brow Wiz though. Easily the best pencil I've ever used. Hoping we get the Dipbrow over here soon too.

Nyx's answer was less than helpful. They told me I had to look at the individual item's package label. So I don't know if that means the individual pencils only list the ingredients in that color or what. The one store that carries Nyx nearby me doesn't sell those pencils.

Ah, that's annoying. It's an online only company for me (like most vegan/friendly brands)...

NYX have never been anything but unhelpful when I've emailed them too! And I can also only buy it online, except for when I go to beauty trade shows. Annoying.

Okay, so this was yesterday, but I was soooo busy yesterday afternoon I had no time to post it. My e.l.f. order finally got here and I am sooooo happy with this lipstick. I was terribly nervous trying to pick one from web images but I think I nailed it! :-D I'm excited to try out the other lip stains I got too but I know for sure at least that this one rocks.

I somehow accidentally ordered two bottles of the bright red glitter nail polish, though. Of all the ones I could have accidentally ordered two of, the one that will likely get used the least.... :-)
