I like the black strappy sandals with the low heel. :)
Those shoes are nice too. If I didn't already have a pair of business casual shoes I'd get them.

Those silver oxfords are killing me. That chunky '90s sole? GIMME.

Sandals, too.

I also like love the silver oxfords but $115 for novelty shoes is too expensive.

It's a little more than I usually spend, but if they're better constructed than most non-leather shoes, then it will be a bargain for me-I go through shoes pretty fast! And I am willing to pay more for a sweatshop-free, animal-free product.

And a big YUSSS to the 90s silhouettes. I'm so excited!!

Yes, exactly this! And I also don't consider them "novelty shoes". I'm not entirely sure what constitutes a "novelty shoe", but I would wear these all the time. Of course, my shoe wardrobe also consists of saddle shoes, plaid shoes, floral shoes, hot pink vegan Docs, Mel's rubber shoes, shoes with polka dots, shoes with cherries... maybe I mostly only wear "novelty shoes".

Your show wardrobe sounds like my heaven.

I agree, though, given that 90s silhouettes and flatform shoes have been everywhere these past two years, I wouldn't consider any of these styles novelty shoes. I think that this is a style that will probably stick around for a while. Sure, they're fashion-y, but skinny jeans have been fashion-y for 12 years now, so I suspect I'll get some good use out of them AND look totally fly!

I consider silver shoes novelty shoes because they aren't something I'd wear very often.

I'm actually a bit surprised by their shoe collection. I thought they'd have dressier options that went with their bags more. None of their shoes are particularly office-friendly for me.

That's actually true for me too (though I bet I could get away with the sandals on Fridays) - but it's my hope that, since this is their first-ever shoe collection, it's smaller and a little narrower in style than future collections will be.

I'll be buying partially just as a show of support - I really, truly hope that this is a profitable pursuit for them. I think the world needs more vegan shoe options that are stylish, fashion-forward, and ethically made, because I often my choices are either mass-market fast fashion shoes that could be made in a sweatshop, crazy expensive, or far too stodgy for anyone under the age of 45. I'm so happy that seems to be changing!

That's interesting - they're all so masculine! I would think as a brand that makes handbags, their market would mostly be women! Nice shoes though - Hmm, and their sizing doesn't seem to say which 'US' sizing they mean! Confusing!

That website is a disaster. None of the pictures will load, and as Mars said, there's no indication what the sizes actually are. :/

You mean men'ss US sizes vs women's US sizes? I interpreted them to be all women's - seems to be a women's line.

I scoured the internet this spring looking for vegan ankle boots. I wish I would have waiting. Those are all gorgeous!

I REALLY want to buy some of these shoes, but I can't currently afford them :( If anyone gets them, please keep us posted on how they fit, how the quality is, etc. Share pictures of you looking killer sexy in your shoes! I want to live vicariously through you.

I ordered some boots (the montroyal) - they're pretty comfy so far and true to the photos on the website - though I wish they didn't come up quite so high on the leg. Time will tell how well they're made since it's still too hot to wear them out of the house right now. I also ordered the westmount flats, which didn't work for me at all (I ordered the right size and they were the correct length but just fell off my feet every time I tried to take a step).

Just a warning if you're ordering direct from their website, their returns process is a byzantine nightmare. You have to email them to get a return form, fill out the form and return it, then wait for them to approve it, at which point they'll send you a return number and address to return to, then you have two weeks in which to get the shoes to their warehouse (via insured, tracked shipping that you pay for), and you have to be careful to label the box a certain way or their warehouse won't accept it. I get that they're a small company and can't necessarily afford to pay everyone's return shipping and I'm sure the labeling is because they're using a third party warehouse, but the whole returns process feels like it's designed to stop you from making returns successfully since there are so many steps and they've very up-front about the fact that they might not accept your return if you don't follow them exactly.

I ordered the Joliette chelsea boots in Cerise. I emailed ahead of time asking about sizing. They reported that the boots run quite large. I'm a 8.5/9 and ordered a 9 and I can't even get them on my foot. I'm really furious about the advice they gave. I'd also say that the boots do not look as nice in person as they do online. I emailed two days ago asking about the returns process, but have yet to hear back. Aiee's note above makes me nervous. $150 is a lot of money and I am really disappointed.

UGH UGH UGH because of their return shipping requirements, it just cost me $23 to send the package back to them. So I paid $23 to try on shoes that didn't even sort of fit. Lesson learned. I love their bags, but this new shoe situation is a disaster.

Wow, I'm really sorry about the awful return experience. How disappointing! Their bags are so great I would have assumed the shoes would be as well. :(

I've read a lot of negative reviews from a lot of unhappy people about the returns nightmare, which has kept me from ordering from them. I keep wishing that they'll heed all that negative feedback and change the way they do things. But mostly I wish it was easier to find all their products elsewhere.

"A byzantine nightmare" is a pretty good way to describe the return process. On the bright side, I was also a few days past the deadline and they refunded my purchase without issue. It is definitely deterring me from buying the shoes, though.

For everyone worrying about refunds - looks like mine just was processed (and that's with a post office screw up that led to the shoes not getting back to the warehouse until a couple days after the deadline). So, seems to have turned out ok in the end.
