it happens! There are so many things that I would've never thought were tested on animals. We just do the best we can. I've been wearing the daysoft lenses since I started this thread a year and a half go and I love them! In fact, I just ordered a few more boxes!

I feel so old school. I wear gas permeable (Boston) lenses. Started out using them because of astigmatism, and stayed with them even after they started making soft lenses that can correct for astigmatism. Tried soft once, and my eyes are too dry for them.

And, yes, it is amazing how thin they can make lenses these days. Mine are almost -8, and have had some nice frames in the past several years. Gone are my childhood nightmares of plastic tortoiseshell frames and thick lenses, really heavy ones when they made them in glass.
