also, target has options!

I got mine at Marshall's. They're shorter than reg cowboy boots though. White Mountain brand: I'm not sure how much of their stuff is vegan-friendly, but these are and are very comfy, and I didn't buy the as part of a costume, so I hope they're fashionable?

Oh--I like these though!

anyone have experience with the Klogs brand? I'm desperate for a plain all-black shoe that is not athletic-looking but comfortable for lotsa walking. I thought maybe I should go for Danskos but I'm having a hard time finding vegan ones that are just plain black with no white piping etc. I'm superpicky about my shoes, I wear a lot of dresses and have this thing about not wearing sneakers with them (all-black slipon Vans being an ok exception, but I want to branch out a little.)

Until 11am EST tomorrow you can get 50% off anything at Cri de Coeur with the code luckydaily5. I got some little black booties (I have none and it's getting cold!) but I wanted these flats too: http://cridecoeur.myshopify.com/product ... ose-velvet

Sooo... between my coworker and I, 6 pairs of shoes were purchased with that coupon code. FYI, it works on sale items too! I got one pair of shoes for $24 that were originally $120.

Never surrender! They have so much potential.

Are the sandal soles pretty flexible? I have clunky wooden ones, a discontinued design.

I walked about two miles in my Mohops, and it was rough. Every step tugged on the ribbon at the back, which tightened the ribbon too much at the front and forced my feet backward, nearly off the shoe. Plus, when the front tightened, the ankle tie loosened, so there was nothing holding my shoe on... Still experimenting. A few carefully placed square knots could help.

Those are just about perfect. I wish they had black though. The rest of the outfit is black, and I think the brown wouldn't work quite right. Aaaand, I wear a lot of black anyway.

I've looked at two different Targets recently and haven't seen any, but I'll keep an eye out. I still have a month!

Yes the sandals soles are pretty flexible. For some reason my feet feel forced forward, and there's something weird with the ball of my foot, like it's clutching ala dr scholls old school sandals. It was sunny and warm today, so I wore to a baby shower and got few compliments. I think I also have to experiment with tying.

Are these totally ugly and hideous? I really want them but I've been told they are terrible. Do I care what other people think of my footwear, not really. But I don't want to spend 85 dollars on boots that are ugly.

So, I bought several pairs of totally covetable Cri de Coeur booties with the lucky breaks deal...And I love them, but they smell so strongly that I'm worried they're giving me chemical cancer. Is it worth cancer to wear these? I'm not sure...But they are sooo cute.

The smell should go away with time, don't you think? Maybe put them outside to air out a bit?

indexandicon: totally worth it for those booties.

GraciaKai: It's hard to tell from the picture. That's what I hate about online shopping; I'd want to see how they looked on with pants. I like it when Zappos has the video, but it looks like they don't for this pair?

There is a video, I watched it. I think they look cuter on than they do in the pics. The shoe part is pretty standard Sanuk which I already have, and am wearing right now actually! I don't think they are the most adorable boots in the world. But I know they would be mega comfy cause I wear my sidewalk surfers from them almost every day and I love them.

I think it'd be a good buy then! They'd be warm, and you know you like them.

I'm wearing them at my desk. The smell is getting to me, but everytime I get up I do a twirl! PS If anyone wants some CdCs, the girliegirlarmy code got me $40 off today :)

indexandicon, I wonder if stuffing them with newspaper when you aren't wearing them would help the smell go away more quickly.

@Tzippy Thanks for the tip. I put the paper back in them and put them in front of a fan in our storage space.

i think those are kinda quirky in an interesting way. was looking at them, and have been oogling a pair of the horizon sanuk boots, because they looks so comfy and warm, like a blanket on my feet.

so they are comfy to wear around? supportive of feet at all?
