I didn't know they were making the taller docs vegan. I might need those.

This is exactly what I was thinking.

get them - they are bad asparagus. i was worried they would make my legs look as though they were swimming in boots but they just make me look tough! in a good way!

I wish they had them in the matte burgundy. I have so many black boots, and I don't really like the patent leather look.

they are not patent, not shiny at all. they look like regular leather.

So excited about the Docs! Was bummed that I had to return a black pair of boggs that didn't fit right a few months ago, now I'm pretty happy about that. Just got to figure out what color, since they're all pretty rad.

I really like the red - I just wish it wasn't so shiny.

if they are like the black - a lot shiner online than in person.

The black don't look shiny to me and the finish name is different. Maybe I'll try them next month when I have more money.

Native Shoes did a collaboration with Marc Jacobs on a pair of these, and I love them. Not warm, but definitely keep my feet dry and are comfortable/decent arch support. They lace up, but it's all one piece and then folded, so water doesn't seep in around the laces. I tested that the other day when we had a warm up and the streets were covered in water.

Now if you excuse me, I'm going to go buy those Jambu boots, lol.

anyone have experience with el naturalista? they have some shoes on their sight labeled "vegano". some of them are kinda cute. i emailed them to ask if they were actually vegan-friendly, and i have yet to get a response. but the concepts behind the company, generally, sound good (besides all the leather, etc.) if they made vegan shoes, i'd support them. anyone have or had a pair?

I really love the new Docs wedge sandals. I wish they would just make vegan versions of all their shoes. Sad face.

Here are the ones in question if anyone knows of any super similar: http://www.urbanoutfitters.com/urban/ca ... ES_SANDALS

There are vegan wedge sandals all over the internet, but those are just pretty much perfect.

so i heard back from el naturalista and their vegano shoes are definitely vegan. http://www.elnaturalista.com/en/woman#/vegano-yes

i should clarify that i wasn't sure about the shoes labeled vegano because some of them say material: leather, but apparently that's synthetic, if they are labeled vegano.

so if you are interested, check it out!

My guy has the red boots (though 8 eye, not 14), and they are very, very shiny.

I love those. I've been looking for a pair of sandals I love for a few summers now. So elusive!

I was looking at those! Definitely going to get a pair, just not sure on which pattern. I'm so happy they've started making some different styles vegan!

I ordered two pairs of the El Naturalista vegan shoes from Planet Shoes and they are amazing! They run large, I got a 38 and usually wear a 39. I'm excited about having good looking and comfortable sandals for the summer - been wearing Keen sandals the last couple of summers because I'm no-compromise on comfort and walk a lot.

There's way more vegan styles on the El Naturalista site but most of them weren't even for sale on that site.

yes, i ordered a pair from the el naturalista website, and i am loving my sandals also. would've done with planet shoes, if they had the pair i really wanted. but i am not regretting my decision!

i hope they continue to make more vegan styles, would love to see some of their boots and shoes go vegan, too.
