PPP, I did a quick Google search (as you've probably done yourself) and found these. Is that what you're looking for?

I got the red Pinup Couture shoes I mentioned! (I spend a lot of time on Marktplaats so I can get the shoes and clothes I like for a better price; this pair was unworn!). Lookit them!

Have you all heard of Shoes of Prey? You can design your own shoes and they have a bunch of vegan materials! I'm going to be broke forever. http://www.shoesofprey.com

ETA: I haven't actually bought any (yet) so I can't vouch for quality. But here's a photo I found of some finished shoes: http://s148.photobucket.com/user/rebecc ... 1.jpg.html

Okay I designed a pair of shoes on that site that I'm obsessed with, but now the problem is spending $200 on a pair of shoes!

I dont follow this thread normally, so forgive me if this is old news, but look at this brand: http://www.swedishhasbeens.com/us/heart-sandal-p-220.html

Not only are they the most comfortable and versitile style I have seen in a bit, they are handmade, sustainable, and look at the Heart Sandal. I wish i could afford it in blue.

v_a - they all say they are made with leather? Unless there is a vegan style I don't see.

I think it's confusing because it says "100 % vegetable leather" which I think refers to the processing of the leather rather than meaning that the leather itself is vegetable sourced.

Yeah, I don't think it's faux leather:

Quote:
The leather in Swedish Hasbeens' shoes is prepared using natural vegetable oils and is chromium free. Chromium is bad for the environment and its people. It's used today in about 95% of leather shoes to make the production cheap, quick and to make the leather feel softer.

hiya! so i found these super cute penny loafers by bass, and they seem to be vegan! http://www.6pm.com/bass-dahna-cognac?si ... 1b2166becc

however i know some websites can be misleading in regards to the material, but most other websites seem to say it's all synthetic! i've been trying to find penny loafers foreverrr so i hope it's true!

Loving the new shoes I got this week from modcloth! Testing to see if I can include a photo here.

http://www.modcloth.com/shop/shoes-flats/shoes-of-note-flat

ok, I give up. Can't find the instructions for including photos. Trust me tho, these are cool. Two different shoes, one looks like the cover of a notebook and the other looks like the interior page.

YES!

Here's the photo for the shoes I just scored at Modcloth. Turns out they are great conversation starters.

Snarkyvegan: those are rad!

V_A if you look up thread, there's a bunch of us discussing dupes for has been clogs. Here are ooh me similar ones. I'd investigate further, but I have a cat on my lap that's making it hard to type! :)

Eta: Here are a couple more options.

Have any of you ever "hacked" your shoes? Like add straps, buckles and such? I've got a pair of platform clogs that look nice but the straps are too skinny to be functional. I'm trying to think of ways to add wider straps. Thinking I'll have to have the husband drill wider holes in the plastic sole. Anyone ever tried something like this?

Snarkyvegan I've had cobblers make adjustments, but never did it myself. Good luck though!!

These are on sale on Modcloth. I can't justify buying them without spending another $15 for free shipping though...

Those are pretty stellar, Creep. You can find another $15 to spend, I believe in you.

ND, I bought those cape clogs sandals, but returned them because they were way way too big, and also ugly. I was sad. You may remember my quest for hasbeen-style Swedish shoes. It remains, alas, ongoing.
