I've been wanting the Vegetarian Shoes cute creeper for a long time. I saw they are being discontinued so I ordered a pair.

Have you all heard of Shoes of Prey? You can design your own shoes and they have a bunch of vegan materials! I'm going to be broke forever. http://www.shoesofprey.com

ETA: I haven't actually bought any (yet) so I can't vouch for quality. But here's a photo I found of some finished shoes: http://s148.photobucket.com/user/rebecc ... 1.jpg.html

This is so awesome! I already designed two, I might need to get one pair for my birthday...

I got 'em! The sale price went down to $21.99, so I just paid the shipping, which ended up only being $4. I was expecting more for a pair of shoes.

Need to share my new purchase! Opificio V vegan shoes, so happy with them I am telling everyone I know and thought some of you all might appreciate! Have got a few compliments already ;) Found them at www.footprintfashions.com.au (an Australian online store). Well worth checking out.

Here they are: http://www.opificiov.com/en/online-boutique/V22

The Vegetarian Shoes Vintage Boot is coming out in brown soon! High fives all around. My waiting has paid off. I wonder if they'll ever make blue...

I've been lusting for some oxfords in an attempt to mix up my usual ballet style flats.

I totally need some shoe help and this seems like a good spot to ask, does anyone know where I can get a vegan version of these http://m.keenfootwear.com/en-gb/product ... en/newport

They look vegan material wise but aren't listed on the site as vegan so I guess there are glue issues which is a bummer. I don't always look into the glues in every shoe but once a company states something deffo isn't vegan I'll avoid it.

Are you looking for men's shoes, jojo? I'm checking out the J-41 and Jambu sites. They have similar styles.

You're a genius, I'd never heard of those companies. I'm looking for mens and womens, I like the Keen Clearwater and Nick likes the Newport. I emailed Keen and they said that whilst they think the glue used is vegan they can't keep up with the level of checks needed to certify them as such. That might be vegan enough for me but I'd rather buy from a company that can guarantee they're 100% vegan if possible. I like all of these but I'm wondering if the second kind would be grippy enough on say, a wet rock?! I also feel like I have to go with black because it'll go with everything but these aquas are prettier!

I have an older pair of these, jojo, http://www.j-41.com/item/tahoe/kj14t/027 and I really like them. I also have a pair similar to the maryjane type ones. I did buy those in black, but I end up wearing the grey and purple tahoe more. :)

Yeah, the non-leather Newport looked like they'd be OK, but I'd be the same way, a little hesitant since they do list some shoes as vegan-friendly. That being said, if the materials are vegan and the glue is vegan, I think it'd probably be good enough for me, too. I mean, I buy other brands that aren't certified vegan but are all man made materials.

Are you two adventuring somewhere?

Exactly. Me too! I just wanna be extra sure with these as I intend to blog about them!

We are indeed off adventuring! We need shoes suitable for tubing and hopefully other stuff if our plans plan out!

Help PPK! Are shoes like these: http://www.zappos.com/mia-amanda-nude-patent appropriate for a job interview at a hospital? I'm wearing a navy skirt and a pale blue silky button down shirt.

Peanut, that style looks fine to me, and versatile. Those are leather, but we're talking about the appropriateness of the style, yeah?

I've been in the market for nude flats myself.

I think ballet flats are appropriate for almost anything!

These Steve Madden ones say faux patent: http://www.dsw.com/shoe/steve+madden+am ... Name=women

I bet they are vegan, but I would double check in person, if you can, because the DSW website is often wrong when listing materials.

I think those Steve Madden flats are the ones I have. Tried to find a picture of them, and forgot to check DSW. I wasn't sure if a short heel or wedge would be better, I am super short, but I will stick with the flats, thanks!
