I really liked the onitsuka tigers I had, I wore out the sole.

I realized my shoes were half a size too small for intense gym activities so I recently bought these, the most comfortable sneakers in the world

Oh my goodness. SO ADORABLE! What is the style called? I can't find them anywhere. I want. I need.

PS- I'm pretty sure that all Melissa shoes are vegan, as they're all made of bubblegum-scented plastic! I have two pairs and love them both dearly. Probably my favorite shoe brand.

Hi, I don't know the style name, sorry!

I also want a pair of the Melissa 'Ashanti' shoes in black gloss:

Does anyone know if the Melissa 'floc' shoe material is vegan?

Anyone know if these are fake leather or real? I badly want them to be fake because I have no boots.

- sole made from repurposed motorcycle tires to keep them from the landfill!

Just ordered them online...sooo hope they fit...!!!

Grrrr! US Shipping only. I love shoes with tire soles, they are so hard-wearing. My Simple sneakers with tire soles are still going strong after way over a year. Or rather, the soles are still going strong, the other parts are starting to wear out.

Guys! I can't sleep! I can't figure out what to do!
http://www.target.com/p/women-s-mossimo-kaelyn-boot-assorted-colors/-/A-13988510

Bought these boots, wore them a few times, love them. I was putting them on at the gym last night and happened to look inside and it says "leather upper"! I called and was assured that they're faux in the Target system, but that I can return if I'm not happy. I can't tell if thiey're faux or not. Just thought if they are real leather or suede that it might say "genuine leather" on the inside instead of just leather? But then I didn't know if I am just telling myself that to feel better about liking them so much.

What would you do?

And if that isn't enough! I ordered these http://www.zara.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product/us/en/zara-us-W2012/269191/955520/ANTIK%20HIGH-HEEL%20ANKLE%20BOOT%20WITH%20BUCKLE and it turns out the insole or whatever is leather! I thought to check the tag because of the above. I haven't worn them or anything, so back they go. Come on though! How are you going to make a shoe mostly polyUrethane and have a leather insole.

#firstworldproblems?

hmm, that's a toughie. Does Target manufacture the shoes? If not I wonder if you'd be able to speak to someone from the manufacturer who can actually tell you whether it's leather or not. It seems like someone has to take responsibility for it. It is annoying though because there is a lot of vagueness and ambiguity in these things sometimes. I often have difficulty telling now whether something is vegan online, and have to return stuff once it arrives.

I think I'm just going to return them. I found a similar Cri de Coeur bootie. Four times the price, but I like the peace of mind that I'm supporting a vegan comapny and that tHere's no ambiguity on the materials.

Pretty sure I have these same boots in red. I always feel like a fancy elf when I wear them. They're probably the nicest shoes I own.

Hello! They're fake; I sell shoes and I know Blowfish doesn't make leather uppers at all.
However, they're not an all-vegan company, so sometimes their shoes have leather insoles or stacked leather heels for no apparent reason. I wouldn't buy them unless you can confirm that the details/notions aren't leather.

UGH!!! I was just coming here to post a warning about Zara. I've written to them, but it turns out that some of their shoes that don't list any leather have leather insoles! Why!? Why would they do that?! I didn't particularly need the shoes, and I haven't worn them, so back they go. I'm sure to check the tags on shoes now after a Target fiasco (online listed as faux suede, inside listed as leather upper). Don't trick me websites! I'm already paranoid as it is!

Aw! Those boots are really nice. I wish the Forever 21 in my city stocked their cute shoes I see online, instead of just the leopard print platform shoes and other things I would never be able to physically wear.

I just got these and I am super excited.

Image

They were having a buy one get one half off promo, so I got the silver and the blue. I don't know how I feel about the blue. They don't seem to be as well made as the silver, the tongue is skewed to the left and is uncomfortable. I might return them. But the silver I really like. The blue are shiny vinyl and these are more matte.

These are really cute!!

My one beef with f21 shoes are that some can look really poorly made. I do have some I got though a few years ago and they are literally the shoes I've got the most compliments on ever in my life, so it's probably hit or miss there.

i am crazy for silver shoes. i just bought a backup pair of pewter docs...and now i ordered these. i think i'll save my docs for more special times so they stay shiny longer and these will be my kicking-around silver toes.

i have a problem.

Oh no. This is my first pair of silver shoes. I hope they're not a gateway pair! Although honestly having a collection of silver shoes sounds awesome. The box they sent my two pairs of shoes in is 2 feet by 3 feet. I thought someone sent me a giant present.

Ha! It totally is a gateway drug! I'm a little obsessed with silver or gold shoes. I have the Superga sneakers, then I got a pair of silver penny loafers from H&M, and I've had to restrain myself from buying another pair of gold shoes.

I think H&M and Forever 21 can definitely be hit or miss, but I like the price point for the most part. I ordered a pair of Neuara shoes and they have a heel that seems really cheap, but the shoes most definitely were not.
http://www.neuaurashoes.com/norah-black/ You can't tell from the picture, but the heels are really shiny and plastic looking.

In other news, I ordered a pair of Hearts of Darkness by Cri De Coeur shoes to replace the Target loser shoes, and they are so comfortable. They have a really thick insole similar to the ones that I buy to put in my shoes. I'm still kind of meh about the quality at that price point. I want to support vegan companies though! I ordered both of the below, and I'm going to send back whichever one I don't like as well. Still to receive the charcoal color.

http://www.amazon.com/Cri-Coeur-Womens-Fox-Coffee/dp/B0064GT690/ref=sr_1_28?s=shoes&ie=UTF8&qid=1346425884&sr=1-28&keywords=cri+de+coeur

http://cridecoeur.myshopify.com/products/chief-slip-on-bootie

Oh, and here's another pair of Chelsea style boots.
http://www.amazon.com/Cri-Coeur-Womens-London-Ankle/dp/B005WQ9L66/ref=sr_1_5?s=shoes&ie=UTF8&qid=1346425867&sr=1-5&keywords=cri+de+coeur

ETA, links. Images were too wide to include.

TL;DR, I miss my husband (who is in Brazil), and I have a shoe problem.
