So I'm going to Europe in under a month, and I need gloves! I had a look around today at some clearance stores that still had winter stuff, but it was all either knit gloves or huge, bulky snowboarding things that rendered my hands useless. Is there something like vegan leather gloves around somewhere? I just want to be warm but also look cute and be able to use all of my fingers. Is that too much to ask?

I don't know if they have anything like these in Australia, but I have two pairs of these gloves, one in the black and white paisley and one in a sort of cranberry red. They're some sort of faux velvet, stretchy, and lined with soft fleece feeling thinsulate. They manage to be pretty but practical.

Vegetarian shoes sell these black faux leather gloves http://www.vegetarian-shoes.co.uk/jacke ... 191_p.html

They seem crazy expensive for gloves but I have £4 fingerless H&M gloves so anything'd seem expensive next to them!

my mom bought me these last year:

they are kind of dorky looking- not as cute as faux leather, but really not too bad compared to the snow type gloves. they're pretty warm too, i use 'em when i'm riding my bike and they definitely allow your fingers to remain functional.

Unfortunately vegan leather gloves are still really hard to find, and really expensive. I've been eying these for a few years now but haven't been able to justify the cost:

Those Veg. Shoes one look nice too, but seriously I just think that 35 or 40 pounds is too much to pay for gloves. It sucks because I see the real leather gloves at discount stores all the time, marked down drastically.

This is my problem! I saw these adorable blue gloves recently, marked down super cheap. They were so cheap that I assumed they couldn't be real leather, but sure enough, they were.

I ended up ordering the Veg Shoes ones. The shipping was really cheap so I guess the price kind of evened out. I've accepted that ordering anything online is always going to be expensive for me. Hopefully they fit, the sizing seemed really weird- it said that by my measurements I would be a unisex medium, but I have tiny hands so I went with a small.

Those look really slick- be sure to report back on what you think of them and how they fit. I find glove sizing really weird too- for the Bourjois Boheme ones I would be a large apparently but I think I have pretty small hands.

Bumping because I need new gloves, and I really want a nice pair of close-fitting, black faux leather ones - you know, like the nice, "grown-up" pregan ones I used to wear. So far the closest I've found are the Vegetarian Shoes ones linked above, but they're a bit more expensive than I'd like; why is it so hard to find decent-looking pleather gloves?!
