I think I'm going to break down and order a tube of zuzu luxe soon, right now I'm using ecco bella and I'm not a fan.

I think Zuzu has lost their spot at WFM. I haven't seen it at the three Bay Area stores I frequent. That's how I ended up trying Lavera. I get Zuzu now at Pharmaca.

My Whole Foods still has it. I think it depends on the store and the Whole Body buyers. But yeah, Pharmaca is where I bought mine on sale. I am curious about Zuzu foundation. Might give that a go when I run out.

Yes, I just got mine at WF, but it was a big WF and it was a small selection of Zuzu products (compared to other brands. I don't know how much they used to have or typically carry, but it seemed small-ish? Tons of eyeliners, a few lip glosses, but not a lot of other things.)
So, I liked the Zuzu mascara. I wish it had volumized my lashes more, but it definitely lengthened them and they curled up a bit, but I have pretty decent lashes to begin with. Maybe I just need to apply a few more coats to get the volume, but I didn't want to run into a clumping problem. It didn't flake or smudge, but I was inside most of the day. I don't think it is waterproof, but it seemed more difficult to wash off than the typical non-waterproof mascara.

I never wash mine off. It just comes off in the shower the next morning. So no it's not waterproof.

I like Lavera! Maybe because I'm going for more of a natural "just enough so I don't look tired" kind of thing and I'm blonde with skimpy lashes. I didn't wear makeup for years but now I feel like changing things up and I do sometimes. I like that it's really light because I SWEAR I can feel "thicker" mascara on my eyelids and then I rub them and look a mess. I use the regular brown volume mascara and the liquid liner, and though there was a learning curve for the liner, I'm pretty happy.

I got my Manic Panic mascara in the mail and it is pretty great. It's really thick so it's giving me that "oomph" factor I've been missing for a while. no running or streaking for me.

I couldn't find ZuZu Luxe at Whole Foods, so I got the Gabriel Color (same difference?) and it's a little too wet. I'm going to have to order Manic Panic.

so far i like ecco bella mascara, but i've only used it once. however, i biked through the wind and rain in it and it didn't run, so i was a bit impressed. my next test is wearing it to work and seeing if it melts off my face while i'm cooking. (this should be fun.)
i don't really look for a dramatic mascara, though. i don't wear makeup at all most days of the week, and when i do it's just a bit of mascara & concealer - sometimes if i'm feeling really fancy i'll put some eyeliner on, but that's rare. i just want something to make my eyes pop a bit more when i'm looking a little tired :)

I googled the ingredients of Diorshow in the vain hope it might be vegan. as I suspected though - beeswax and carmine.
I always heard good things about it before I went veg and I didn't realise but the lady chucked a mini one in the bag when I bought some perfume the other day.

I feel like I almost expect smudging. Although I can't remember if the Korres smudges or no. It's going to be hard to beat, but I'm not ready to settle down.

I want to try the Manic Panic one now. It looks like it has a big brush and I like big-brush mascaras.

Oh crepe, I've been hunting for a big brush. My old mascara had a big, full, awesome brush.... Must resist the urge to buy a fourth mascara in a month. No, I don't. Mascara is necessary. I'm testing to find the best one.
Manic Panic is next! Anyone carry it in stores or do I have to order it online?

I checked Newbury Comics in Boston but they didn't have it, so I ordered from http://www.manicpaniccollection.com/Eye ... _p_11.htmlThey sent a free nail polish that's pretty cool as well. Not sure if Hot Topic might carry these though?

I love this stuff SOOOOOOOO much I'd consider marrying it, but a) human/makeup marriage is illegal, and b) if it were legal, polygamy is not okay in Indiana.

I like big brush mascara too, the ELF mascara I got has a tiny brush and it's so freaking wet, it takes forever to get on it and looking clean.

has anyone used both manic panic & aveda, that could speak to the brush size? the picture of the manic panic brush looks pretty similar to the brush in my aveda mosscara, but maybe it's hard to say just from a picture.

So after experimenting with all the vegan mascaras I had at my finger tips I came up with this to make my lashes more dramatic. I curl my lashes, then apply a thickening mascara, curl again (carefully - so you don't loose lashes) and then apply a lengthening formula with the tiny bristles. I like the results!
