I bought a few $15 Target bras; I don't remember which brands. They were itchy and quickly fell apart. My $60 VS bras are still comfy and look like new 2-3 years later.

I buy the extreme lift padded bras. They come close to walking the dog.

How much lift do they provide? I don't really need to have my nipples under my clavicles...

Tofulish, not the prettiest, but the best bra ever. My girls don't pop out (I'm a 34D) and it isn't overly padded, so I don't look like Barbie. You might try it! http://www.victoriassecret.com/ss/Satel ... vsdWrapper

I always buy full coverage now because I find they just work better for me. With that in mind, I need this: http://www.victoriassecret.com/ss/Satel ... vsdWrapper

ETA: OMG, WHOLE HOILDAY COLLECTION. WANT. NOW.

I definitely always buy the bras with the least coverage possible because they are more likely to actually fit. Most bras over a demi end up with all sorts of awful cup gaping.

Before I bought my first bras after losing weight, I went into a few department stores and VS and always left in near tears because nothing would fit. Finally one day, I decided to talk to one of the snooty looking VS salesgirls and she turned out to be super sweet and understanding and she helped me figure out what would work. This is also one reason I have only bought from VS in the past 3 years: it reduces the stress of shopping to almost nothing.

Sexy bras in my size (currently 38E, on the edge of F) are sort of non-existant. Which is too bad, because I love saucy underthings.

It's worth noting that I also have puddin' boobs. I know some people with large breasts can like, not wear a bra or can wear tank tops with built-in bras, because their boobs are firm enough to stay up with that sort of thing. I can't.

Anyway, not SUPAR SEXAY, but I love my super supportive Le Mystere Dream Tisha bras and think they're at least less grandmotherly than some options.

Her stuff is great! I would bookmark to order something later, but I am so impossible to fit that I can't risk ordering without trying on.

Same here, unless it's VS because I know my size. My boobs are evil.

Yup. I love to buy things, but I hate to shop. There is a decided difference between the two. There is definitely a lot to be said for being able to go into a store, pick up what you want and be back in your car in under 15 minutes. Bookstores are the exception. I can spend 2 hours picking out books; for some reason this annoys people.

I'm think we're the same person and should obviously hang out.

i <3 my calvin klein and la perla lingerie. mmmmmm!

i also have a thing for bodys. they're just so damn sexy.

La Perla just never seems to fit me. I love Calvin Klein though: tons of options for lesser endowed women, plus most of it is
extremely comfy, even the underwire stuff.

My pet peeve for most lines is that there are never enough pantaloon options. If I spend a lot on on a bra, I want to be able to buy at least 2
(preferably 3) pantaloons to match or coordinate. CK usually has boy shorts, which I love, but a lot of others may only have a thong for example (which I
won't wear). VS is generally very good in this regard, but I have a great turquoise and silver lace leopard print bra, but the pantaloons don't fit right now
so I don't wear the bra because I like things to coordinate (not necessarily match). None of their current colors look right with it.

I do want my nipples under my clavicles. Not every day, and certainly not at work, but on a Friday night, pump those babies up.

But alas, I buy most of my bras at Target. I'm cheap when it comes to clothes that isn't worn on the outside. I fantasize about cutey retro pin up-y under thing, but a plain black bra is the usual.

I'm totally broke, but that's probably for the because otherwise I'd probably start splurging on those websites you all have started posting. OMG Purrfect Pineapples, so much hotty cuteness.

How long do your Target bras last? With bras, if you can commit to just one perfect bra, the extra cost may
be justifiable (even if not until your budget improves) because it should last for years.

I haven't found a good source for the nicer brands at a good price, but you can usually find CK pretty cheap in places like Marshalls or TJ Maxx,
and VS has great clearance sales a few times a year as long as you don't wear a size like 36B that is always sold out.

I don't have money for anything now either. I have my expenses cut down to basically groceries and my necessary nail polish.

But even Victoria's best efforts aren't getting my nipples anywhere near my clavicle.

I seem to have gained back 8 of the 7.6lbs I've lost in the past week. So forking unfair. I'm pretty sure I have a cyst or something similar. At this rate, my underwear is never going to fit again.

They last for years. I haven't bought a bra in forever. A while back I went to VS and tried on a few bras, but couldn't find a good fit. Oddly enough, the Target ones fit better. Still, I'm tempted to go back to get some extreme lift. I have a pretty large bust to begin with, but it might be fun to have Jessica Rabbit cartoon boobs on a night when I'm going out.

I always get ones from the Very Sexy line because they seem to work the best on small boobs and don't gape on me, so probably avoid that line. I can't wear any of the Secret Embrace or Angel's line because they are cut big on the sides.

I think Phillip Lim's little bralettes are v. pretty (...and I don't really need much support, if any.), but they're like $100 each and all silk.

I like a lot of VPL's stuff, too, but it's also way out of my price range.

I love victoria secret bras. No matter how many bras I try on, none fit as best as the ones from VS. As for undies, I have yet to find any I like to replace my no-longer-made old favorites which are currently riddled with holes.

As for sexy lingerie, I look and fantasize, but never seem to buy.

I've occasionally managed to get formerly fairly expensive lingerie for ridiculous prices like 3.50 GBP on sale at the sort of store that looks expensive but really charges the same price as everyone else selling the same brands. It's probably because the size was too small for the average person looking at the clearance rack.

Too bad I don't have any sewing gadgets. I have a bra that used to fit well before it got worn out and might be worth reconstructing.
