Hi friends! So I went to homesense today and got so many lovely things that would have cost me all the cabbage in the patch. I thought it would be lovely to have a thread on home decor, post pics of rooms, projects, finds....whatever tickles your fancy! My new craft storage draweramajig! Pretty throw blanket. I am addicted to throw blankets.

This is such a great idea and it has come at such a great time because I am moving soon and looking for decorating inspiration.

Oh my goodness, I want a tree in my house! It would fulfill my wildest dreams of living both in a treehouse and a hobbit hole!

i am an interior design geek. i spend so much time thinking about home decor, interior design, furniture, storage solutions, functionality, colors and apartments that it is a little crazy.
i really enjoy terence conran's work, he seems to have a great balance between functionality and aesthetics.
the amazing thing about interior design is that it can be just as you want it: your decoration style can be mellowed down to just a few details that you really like, or you can go full blown crazy with photostats, wallpapers, furniture etc. finding the right balance between what makes your home functional and beautiful is such a great feat!

Can you guys recommend some blogs and DIY sites. We may vote, we may not, but I have lived here for a year and I want to decorate! I have purchased some things, but I have a hard time putting it all together.

Curbly is a site that has a ton of DIY projects. Some of them are really practical and awesome, but some are a bit um, artsy-craftsy?, so it can be hit or miss depending on your taste.

I've been browsing this blog http://frommoontomoon.blogspot.com/ and even though it's mostly really high end bohemian booshy stuff, I'm really inspired by the dream of living in some of these places. And here's the apartment from Friends just cuz I like it!
