Nice Kitteh! Mine are neon Skittles with wavy neon Chevrons for accent nail right now.
I havent tried a Galaxy nail set yet. But I want to lol. That may be next mani this weekend :D

As far as plates... I have found an AWESOME set of plates with some super Super intriguing images, but have no idea of the "brand". I have found them on the AliExpress site and can get them for less than a buck a plate... but am really wanting to make sure I get the whole set. Has anyone thought about getting together a Group Buy on any of the wholesale sites for plates??

I found a great tute yesterday and couldn't get the idea out of my head and I knew I wanted it to look like the cover of that book so that gave me the inspiration for the colours. I thought it was going to turn out crapola but I'm really pleased with it, especially as it really did take a while but in the end it was worth it. I want to try it with other colours now. If you're keen to try it, check out the tute, there are heaps of photos and it was a lot simpler than I thought it would be.

Also, I've mentioned vegan/cruelty free polish in a couple of vlogs I've done and I've gotten some great responses from people who didn't even consider that their polish might have been tested on animals, so hopefully I've made a few people stop and think about the brands they buy - yay vegan nail polish!

I have been talking about Cruelty free stuff for a while and a lot of my extended family members are starting to really pay attention, and with always ensuring I check darn near everything I buy at the store, my son and daughter are VERY aware, and are getting their friends aware as well. My son's best friend's mom is changing to CF polishes. I am so happy people are asking questions...

OK my fingers are a bit crepe, I need to practice my french like mad so I had a go on myself. My right hand is not as bad as I thought it would be and I think I did ok, but I didn't clean up any of the smile lines which I would normally so my pinky is a bit wonky. I left my bling finger on as it hasn't chipped or anything but it looks a bit funny! hahah.


Toes are Orly's Witches Blue with a simple rhinestone flower to sparkle it up a bit.

Nice! I need to organise my stash badly. The second drawer of my bedside table is full and it's a nightmare trying to find anything in it. I've organised my make up stash, nail polish is next I guess!

The first wave of ORLY glam FX polishes have hit the clearance bins at Sally's! They're still $6, but they already didn't have a lot so I didn't want to wait.

Also they still cannot give away the Dark Shadows polishes.

Although, I'm getting into the CND shellac and layering. I'm going to try one coat of romantique over gotcha over cocoa. If it turns out, I'll try to take a picture. I'm still trying to get that perfect light pink that has become my white whale (vegan?).

Finally getting back into doing my nails on a regular basis. Sinful Colors Happy Ending on my toes(gotta love the name). Not sure what I'm doing on my fingers yet.

(Pictures in bright sunlight; color is just a pinch dustier.) Pretty darn close to what I want! I hope this lasts better than the last one. The place that used Gelish base and top coat lasted two weeks, but this place started to lift around the cuticles after a week. I did some intense house work though, and I did put a hole in one of my rubber gloves, so water leaked in a bit. I'm going to double bag it this week!

Googled tons of Nebula images before I did it to get an idea of the colors and shapes. Didnt want to use a flat out tutorial, because I wanted something totally my own lol... but I got the ideas from that tute you posted, Kitteh!

my son walked by the table while I was doing them and just stopped, staring because I actually had about 40 bottles of polish sitting on the table with a little piece of sponge next to each one. He asked, "is it really necessary to have THAT Many bottles out?" I cracked up and replied of course! lol

Using mostly WnW, China Glaze, Orly ... no idea how many actually went into it but here they are!

i STILL don't have my zoya remove (plus all the new colors that i'm actually excited about/waiting for), so i emailed them to ask... apparently it's on backorder (sigh), so it won't be shipped until probably the end of the month.

Thanks, kitteh! I know it's just pink, but I have a weird obsession with getting just the right shade. Then in fall I'll switch to a burgundies, purples, reds and be obsessed with getting the right shade.

My toes are naked, and I feel weird! I'm going to the beach on Friday and Saturday though, so I can't be bothered.

Gaia: that is a super fun green! I think if I did a pedi in that, I'd just sit and stare at my toes.

Raila: that is seriously amazing. So incredibly beautiful.

I need to redo my mani and I can't decide what to wear! Last 3 were purple (BL Brummie), neon green (BL Squatter) and currently neon pink (BL Cake Hole). Tell me what to do, o lacquer lovers!
