I just got an Ulta flier in the mail, and apparently they're doing another 21 days of beauty event. On Monday September 10th Butter London nail polishes are buy one get one free!

oh forking here we go again with that! i'm going to put a bunch of things in my cart, then try to check out and find that they are all gone. UGHLTA.

Weird! I guess different people got different last days, because mine was definitely on the 28th. So now all that's left is to keep obsessively checking to see if they shipped.

They made a mistake when they said the 28th. The original promo ad said the 29th, so they made a correction on their Facebook saying that they would honor that date.

Darnit, jessilikewhoa! I purposely didn't look at that Ulta flier! Ok, actually I just set it on the chair by my door and forgot about it.

I feel like I'm in a rut! Why do I put so much thought into things? At least I know you all can understand a bit. I'm trying to decide whether or not to switch over to fall colors! I'm thinking either a true red or a vampy red, but I just don't know. Should I have one more summer fling? I keep seeing people with dark nails and loving it though. Then I start thinking about BL British Racing Green or Royal Navy.

I do think I'm going to give the shellac a break though because my nails are peeling a little. I don't feel like SHELLAC RUINED MY NAILS, OMG, but I've done it three cycles now, and I think it'd be good to break it up and get some regular strengthener on there.

Aw, calcuhater, I feel you. I only saw one that I really, really wanted though. I didn't look very long though. I am going to try to actually use some of the polish that I've bought before I buy anything else. Maybe.

i did a england tristam on my fingers for a second week in a row, i just love it so much. next week i'm switching to something new, though... something that feels more "fall" and "back to school." i'm thinking either barry m dusky mauve (paradoxal dupe) or zoya jana.

...unless i magically get my new zoya order by then, in which case, all bets are off.

I already got my Zoya order! Which is kind of surprising since I never even got a 'your package has shipped' email. This is the fastest turn-around i've gotten.

i need a gold in between goldie and jules. that's my current problem.

My nails have been bare for nearly 2 weeks. I have a trio of butters just sitting here looking at me and my zoya order should be here any day.

I have an ulta giftcard and I'm trying to decide on actual makeup to buy instead of more and more polish. Will be amazing if I follow through with that!

I'm wearing Frenzy today. It's another oddball color. It's not quite taupe, grey or lavender, but a weird hybrid. I like it. It's a classic neutral, but just different enou to be interesting and awe bit edgy.

I can't decide about NOOT?! Also, I'm buying. Blast.

This is exciting! I hope mine is there when I get home tonight!! I still have a bunch of Butter untrieds from my recent lapse in control: Sloane Ranger, Tramp Stamp, LaMoss, Saucy Jack, Wallis...

but, I think I'm going to go for one more mani's worth of brights before I *officially* switch over. Maybe skittles to really get it out of my system.

i took the plunge: juno, reagan, raven, phoebe (even though i know it's out of stock, i'm hoping they'll just wait list me or something...), indigo, noel, ginessa, and zuza. now WHERE IS MY ORDER?!

Holly, Elisa, FeiFei, Kotori, Natty, and Song. Plus I ordered one of the nail foundations from HIPPxRGB (F1, the palest) and 5 BB Coutures from Overall Beauty, Smoke, Jealousy, Adam, Coal Miner, and Eve. They'll be my first BB Couture polishes, and I'm excited. I have a big haul coming of dark dirty fall colors and neutrals, which I also love in fall. I spent all my spending money for September at once, before September even started, but I'm still happy!

I'm hoping I earn enough in tips at school (even though we're just cosmetology students we can still get tips!) before the Butter London sale at Ulta to get one plus one free, but if I don't it'll be ok, I'm not super excited for anything new from them this fall, I liked Gobsmacked, but Illamasqua Creator is really similar and I like it better, so I'm waiting to buy that eventually.

My Zoyas were here when I rolled in, bleary eyed, from my first two days at school (which is 3+ hours away) last night. LOVE. I can't wait to wear Kelly and Petra. And Raven. And Carey. and all of them.
