Do they include the top/base coats in the sale?

Also if anyone is curious, I think the only other thing on there that's vegan/CF is the Too Faced BB cream. The eye palette on there has carmine, and i'm pretty sure the Tarte mascara isn't vegan. I guess if you want to try out that fancy oil at the bottom, that's a good price.

Yeah, they look awesome! I like three, so I'll probably get one eventually. They cost € 18, ouch.

Here's mine done yesterday. Ombre gelicure and some studs. Almond shape nails are the trend apparently so I had a go. Not perfect but im digging it!

I haven't bought anything from Hard Candy since they started selling it exclusively at Walmart because I don't like to shop at Walmart, but i'm really into those first three.

When Scrangie did some Hard candy reviews a while ago, she said they smelled awful and stained badly. I don't know if that was just a one off, or if they are all like that. Apparently some are cheaper, not 3 free, and made in China (I think that's how you tell which formula it is), and some aren't.

Yeah, and when I went to their site I couldn't find anything about being CF? I know they got really upset when Leaping Bunny mistakenly said they were owned by UD and therefore lumped in with the 'selling in China' thing. I guess their nail polish line just got rebooted so these are all new, but I can't find a vegan list for HC anyway.

The stinky gross Hard Candy polishes were the holiday polishes which aren't the same as their regular polishes. The polishes in the square bottles with the plastic rings say they may contain guanine. I haven't checked ingredients on the new polishes because they didn't have them at any of the Walmarts I checked.

Hard Candy are cruelty free last I heard, but I haven't checked recently so no promises what with all the China stuff making it stupid hard to keep up on who is and isn't testing. They had a vegan list on their website at one point, but it was totally wrong on a bunch of the products, like a bunch of stuff containing carmine and guanine and beeswax etc listed as vegan. I think they took the list down though, last I saw it had a handful of comments posted to it from vegans calling them full of shiitake liars, then it was gone and not replaced.

(waves "hi" because I just realized it's hella rude to jump into a conversation I haven't participated in in months without a greeting.)

Same here...I have ethical reasons but I have to go in maybe twice a year, they carry size 13 slippers for my step father and they are vegan, only place in town that has them year around. It is always so packed and we have two and a WalMart food store...

We are getting a massive Walmart 5 miles from my house. We are seriously ambivalent on this. On the one hand, we hate Walmart and are happy to avoid it, but on the other, there is nothing here except a Sheetz. The closest reasonable grocery store or shopping area is 18 or so miles away in any direction.

At least they didn't build it adjacent to the battlefield park as planned.

I'll most likely never set foot in the store since I drive past all the shopping areas on my way home, but when my parents need a small mid week grocery trip, I bet they will instead of wasting gas on a near 40 mile rt.

I didn't shop at Walmart for something like 10 years, and then I started hearing about Target donating to really not nice anti-gay candidates during I think the 2010 mid-term elections and I just sort of tossed my hands in the air and said eff it, I'm screwed no matter what because I live in exurban/semi-rural America and we don't have much besides big corporate chains to choose from.. I don't shop at Walmart often, but sometimes I'll get makeup there or snacks or whatever. I try to stick to unionized stores for groceries though.

Bastah, you can get the deals online. They don't have free shipping until you hit $50, though. I thought about doing that yesterday but I couldn't think of $28 worth of other stuff I needed/wanted.
