Hi everyone,

My wife and I recently founded a press devoted to publishing literature with vegan themes and characters. And we're proud to have published (this month) the first novel in a three-part trilogy: Out of Breath, by Blair Richmond.

You can read more about it here: http://www.AshlandCreekPress.com (and download a sample). The novell is receiving great reviews so far. It's a YA novel, so it's a great read for both young adults and adults.

Next year, we have three more novels planned, all with vegan protagonists.

Thanks!
John Yunker

Well I read a twilight rip off about a girl who likes tofu sandwiches and organic orange juice.

Out of Breath certainly has some things in common plot-wise with Twilight, but there are many more differences. The fact that one of the vampires is a vegan is one of these differences. The protagonist is also a competitive runner and, at the beginning of the novel, is homeless. But if you'd like to learn more, you can download a free PDF sample here: http://ashlandcreekpress.com/books/outofbreath.html.

Thanks.
