Hey PPK!

My name is Jen and I am a long-time lurker, first time poster! I work at Life Alive (a vegetarian organic cafe) in Salem and the owner
has very generously fronted me the starting costs of ingredients and equipment and let me use their licensed kitchen to start my own business! I sell vegan truffles and peanut butter cups currently, but would love to eventually expand to caramels, candy bars, toffee, etc. Having a vegan bakery someday is my dream and I can't believe such an amazing opportunity has just been handed to me. I just wanted to get the word out there to vegans in the area that they can now get boxed assortments of vegan chocolates and not have to pay exorbitant shipping costs!

My super talented cousin designed the logo for me- and yes, that was our family's dog, Ginny. She passed away a few winters ago but I will never forget how she totally changed my relationship with animals. I was already vegan when we rescued her, but she affirmed all my ethical beliefs- if she could be so loving, soulful, and full of joy (after moving past old sorrows), then so could any other sentient animal and from that point on there was no turning back.
