Thanksgiving to Remember Event Fri, Nov 26-Tues, Nov 30:

15% of all revenue generated through the drsimpsongallery.com site on these days will go directly to the fund for a much needed book room for Fox Road Elementary school in Raleigh, NC. I have a friend who is a first grade teacher at the school and many of the students can't afford to buy books at home. The younger students can only check out one library book at a time and they only have library day 2x a month. This room would enable the teachers to expose more children to more books!

Then the purchaser will receive a 15 day trial membership to "Discounts for a Cause" where you can save at national merchants online and through the use of coupons. In addition, any memberships that are purchased from DFC after the trial period will grant Fox Road Elementary 10% of the membership fee.

Please share the link with anyone who might be interested. Thanks!

I didn't get the banners off the site last night, so I'm extending the "Thanksgiving to Remember" event through today. Last chance to have your purchase help out the kids at Fox Road get more books.

If you're interested in a hat for Christmas delivery, please try to place orders by the 15th so that it will give us mail time! Thanks.

Can you post pictures of some of the hats you're making? I'd like to see more colors. And pictures. because it is fun.

Actually most of the orders I've received are the black/white with the dark pink flower, but I do have this one picture I took before the show and before I got the mannequin head. It's not a great shot of the hats, but shows a few more color combos. They've all been sold, but I can reproduce any of them in either size. I also have a really cute one I'm making for my niece that's two shades of pink. I should finish it tonight and will try to post that.

Image

The green flower is the "green tea" color and the solid blue is the "light periwinkle".
The white loops are just holding on the price tag for the show. It will not be on your finished product :)
