Just wanted to clarify that if I do a giveaway in November it won't be another one for my book, there's only so much of me I can take! If I do one it will probably be for another great vegan author's book or product. But I don't have anything planned right now, November is one long amazing month so we'll see what happens.

It is a traditional Barbadian tool called a Cou Cou stick..it used to make coucou which is something like polenta but made with okras. It is really good for mixing cake as it is stronger and has more surface area than a wooden spoon. Do you know the sport cricket well it looks like a small cricket bat. I have a few left over from testing because everyone did not claim for one but it is pretty neat to have something you would not get anywhere like that. Wish they could have sold the book with one as it is really unique. I have a few things to give away like Colombo curry powder from the French West Indies and also some coconut jam but I have a problem sending food items to America out of "France" it is prohibited! So I may just keep to non perishable items but the coconut jam is really nice.

LOVE giveaways, don't care if the company is self-promoting, because if it's vegan stuff they make, well, promote away.
The cutting up paper technique is fun because it also gives you creative ways to choose the winner. Last year I let my cat play with the pieces and whichever one she latched onto and tried to eat, that was the winner. You could put the names in fortune cookies or bake them into cupcakes, or...clearly I'm overthinking this. A bowl works just swell.

I can't wait to see the items! And congrats on getting so many responses!
I've wondered about doing this for a while - thanks for the tips on contacting the companies.

NO! All products I have in my hands (and I have a bunch of (mostlycook)books and other fun foodstuffs) are open to everyone everywhere. There will be also be a swag giveaway hopefully featuring lots of PPKers etsy stuff etc that is open to everyone everywhere. The product coupons are open to everyone who can get those products where they live, which I am guessing is US, but possibly also Canada. A few things are being sent out directly by the company, and those giveaways have to be restricted to the US, because I didn't think to ask about international shipping being ok. At least twelve days will definitely have giveaways open to anywhere, and and two of those days will have multiple winners.
I really hope many of you will come see and comment. I don't need you to follow me, I just need you to win stuff, because I want PPKers to win stuff! This project snowballed way out of control in terms of what I anticipated, so we might as well have fun with it!

Random.org has a good number generator. I use it the patented Taymer Mason way. Use the generator up at the top on the right, changing the end number as per my number of comments. Then I do print screen, move it into Paint, paste the page, grab the random number generator box, and paste it into a jpeg file labeled for that day's MoFo. I can do it in under two minutes now.
I thought I would post the rest of my giveaways so you all can see.
13-14 lots of free Tofutti coupons 15 Taymer's Caribbean Vegan (everywhere) 16 VCIYCJ (everywhere) 17 Tempt/Living Harvest 18 Turtle Island/Tofurkey 19 AutumnVegan's Cookie Connisseur (everywhere) 20 Lots of Soy Curls (everywhere) 21 Lightlife 22 Viva Vegan (everywhere) 23 Bubbies 24 Lots of Primal Strips (everywhere) 25 Coconut Bliss 26 Daiya 27 Sin Dawgs, t-shirts, and coloring books from DKB 28 Animal Camp book (everywhere) 29 PPKer and general swag, lots of really cool stuff, starring PandaCookie, Erika Soyf*cker, ilikeapplejuice, and tahinitoo (everywhere) 30 sets of Go Max Go candy bars (everywhere)
