Specifically, a tub of Tofutti cream cheese and a wheel of Cheezly red cheddar. I can send you the recipe if you like, if you want a fallback. Yes, I'd love the recipe, thanks! Sure thing! I had it posted on the old boards, which I can't seem to find online anywhere now...I'll try to dig it up, but if I can't, I'm confident about recreating it from memory. It'll be in a PM soon!

I want soy free, gluten free sausage balls (the spicy ones that are kinda bready and have cheese in them). I'm thinking of working on this myself, but I'm sure yours would be better. i remember making those sausage balls back in the 'ol omni days. a g-f 'n s-f version would rock! now you've got me thinking....i could use the gluten-free bisquick (i remember using standard bisquick back in the day), white beans + sausage-like seasonings, and cheddar daiya. i think i'm gonna have to make these happen!

I never had crab rangoon pre-vegan, but whenever we have leftover vegan cream cheese I make a vegan version of it for the fiance, who misses it. I think it was pretty easy to veganize--I just crumbled tofu and added a few seaweed flakes in place of the crab, and used the vegan cream cheese.

I used to make these Irish Sausage Rolls that everyone loved. They were sausage, diced veggies like carrot, celery and onion, dijon mustard and a few other things wrapped in puffed pastry and baked. The flavors together were freaking fantastic! Shouldn't be too hard to veganize...

Yeah! Scotch eggs! I forgot about those. I made them once when I was a kid for Christmas morning.
That buffalo dip is one of those things that kind of grosses me out but that I would eat the hell out of if I happened across a vegan version.

Teeny ham biscuits - whatever the filling is, it should be pretty salt/smoky. Cheese straws I had this awesome mushroom phyllo purse appetizer at a wedding once. The shrooms were chopped finely, and cooked into a savory, thick stew.

cheese puffs. you know the ones that are mostly butter, grated cheese and a little flour, then baked into a cookie. some also have cayenne and rice crispies in them. i tried them a few years ago with follow your heart and they were an epic fail.
i miss them.

I want to add another vote for both deviled eggs and crab rangoon. Those were two of my favorites pregan, and I super miss them in the sense of I miss tastiness but not actually them because, y'know... yuck.

Is this being done a different blog or have you just not gotten around to it yet? Not trying to be a pain, just dont want to miss out on the potential fabulosity.
