I can't tell you how much I've been loving your Noshtalgia blog, truly. This is a bit of a sensitive time of year for me and I've been tearing up ( like how people cry at weddings! ) to see so much manifest love. What you've been writing is truly beautiful.

Got surprise-flown to Dubai for work three days into Vegan MoFo, but am trying to make it work! At least there is plenty of hummus to share. I'm just sad I'm working 6-hour days and don't have time to sit and read mofo posts all day. I think I'm going to declare October "Read all the MoFo posts I missed" month!

I was doing pretty well until I had to go to a conference in England last week, and so have spent the last 5 days or so not posting anything and instead alternating between working on my paper, travelling around, seeing people and being absolutely knackered! I'm in the middle of writing one tonight about couchsurfing as a vegan though.

I've made every day so far. I plan on making all 30. I have been very busy at work, so it has been a bit challenging. I like to post recipes with my posts, but I'm not always able to do it. I will be ready for October 1st :)

I've ended up kinda fizzling out toward the end. I think what I learned this year is that posting every day is not my thing. It was fun to do that the first year because I was brand new to food blogging, so I had a zillion things to post because I'd never done it before. But now that I post recipes all year round, I don't have 30 days in a row worth of posts. I've tended to be really perfectionistic about what "counts" as a post for me, so maybe if I do it again next year I'll try a different approach.

I'm still glad I participated, even if I didn't do it 100%. The biggest benefit for me about MoFo is that even if I don't post every day during the month, it helps me get motivated and inspired for another year of sharing vegan food with the world on my blog!

My last week hasn't been very productive either. I've made the minimum of 20 posts and that was my goal, so I should feel good about it. I would have liked to do more and still have plenty of ideas, but none of them are at the stage where I can easily make a post out of them. This mofo has helped me to make a dent in my enormous backlog of food inspirations and I've put out quite a few recipes that I'm happy about, so it's a good result overall.

I'm running out of room in my freezer since I am trying to lose weight so couldn't eat most of what I made this month (I don't know why I didn't do some kind of healthy eating thing? I guess I panicked and went for baking for a lot of posts, which is what I feel most comfortable doing), but I've done my final scones ready for tomorrow morning and bought the rest of my breakfast ingredients and am just going to do a retrospective on Monday and a where-do-I-go-from-here thing leading into next month (budget challenge!), so the light can be seen...

Mine fizzled out pretty quickly, I hate to say. I loved our theme and had fun with the posts I did, but life got in the way and took my attention away from MoFo. :( I've been in just reading mode instead of posting. I think the idea of a theme just isn't for me, I get so burnt out on focusing on just one theme so quickly.

I can't believe there's just one more day! Some days were difficult, but overall I had fun! I feel like I have to make tomorrow epic, but I'm nearly burnt out! I'm going to continue posting every so often in my theme (Veganizing 'Friend'), and I'll also do some other TV shows too. I think this mofo was superb. Between Amey's Noshtalgia, Mihl's desserts, the Taco Cleanse, and more, there was just so much amazingness.

I've got to 19 posts! It's been a challenge as I haven't wanted to just post for the sake of it, and I've had a really busy month, but I reckon I'll meet the minimum post number at least.

I managed to meet my goal of posting every other day, and was actually able to post something for each of the last several days of the month, so I'm calling that a success, although there were a handful of things on my to-do that I didn't get around to trying, like the wild mushroom crepe cake from The Vegetarian Epicure (which I swear is happening sometime this fall). This is my sixth (!) MoFo, but only the second time using a theme, and I've really enjoyed that approach; I find that it helps me organize my cooking plan by turning it into a bit of a research project, which keeps me interested. I'm already toying with ideas for next year; yesterday I ran into a friend who challenged me to veganize the Escoffier Guide Culinaire, which would be ambitious, hilarious, and Something Completely Different. We'll see!

I can't believe I've only just realised today is the last day of September! I had it in my head that this month had 31 days for some reason.

Yay!!! Done!! I'm super happy because I blogged every single day, stayed on theme, had a super busy month and did absolutely no pre-planning! Most of all though, I just really loved the experience of writing all my little noshtalgia posts and remembering so many sweet people and moments. It made me feel so warm and grounded, instead of feeling stressed about mofoing! I also loved SO many other bloggers' themes, and I am eager to do some catch up reading!

I absolutely loved blogging and reading this year. I didn't manage to blog every day, I think I came in a total of 28 posts, so it was pretty close.
Vegan MoFo is a happy month, it feels like everyone is vegan :-) and I'm always overwhelmed by all the amazing recipes!

I managed 30 posts! I'm a little annoyed with myself because I pretty quickly scrapped my main theme (budget stuff) for my secondary theme (cooking through Cookin' Crunk) because I was completely broke by payday and spent the last week of MoFo spending money like crazy because I got paid on the 25th. So I probably have more stuff in my cupboards now than when I said I was gonna cook through my cupboards.

I still have loads of stuff I want to make, and now I have even more from all the amazing things people have posted. And I really need to catch up with some other blogs.

I hardly managed to leave any comments, but I did manage to blog every single day. Phew! That said, it'd be wonderful if I could stay in the habit and keep posting regularly, like once or twice a week. There are still so many recipes I have that I didn't get to. :D

Wow! 34 times!
I'm glad I did take the time to read some other blogposts and comment on them, because I love to get comments, so it's only fair if I spread the love myself ;-)

Escoffier would be the ultimate challenge!
