So this isn't specifically MoFo related, but it sort of is because I have been introduced to a bunch of new blogs. I know there has been a push for comments, but I was wondering how people feel about comments on old posts. If I make a recipe that you posted in 2010, is it annoying if I comment? Is it nice to know someone new to your blog is rooting around finding older stuff? I just don't want to be lame or annoying.

I wouldn't mind! I am always happy about comments. I think it really depends on how old the post is. If someone has a problem with a recipe from a few months back and comments I try to help them. If it is a recipe from a couple of years back I usually tell them that I don't remember. If people just comment to tell me they made it and it came out fine I am always super happy and thank them for commenting no matter how old the post is.

I love comments on old posts - especially if you've made a recipe. I always comment on people's recipes if I've made them - no matter how old the post is. Because then if I am considering making a recipe from someone's blog, I always read the comments to see if anyone has actually made it, and how it turned out for them... :)

I love getting comments on old posts! It's fun to hear if someone went somewhere I've travelled to or is using my posts to plan a trip.

Good to know. Now I won't feel silly for commenting. Usually it's just along the lines of "I made this and it was awesome" so nothing Earth shattering or anything.

I love getting comments on my older posts and I love feedback on any of my recipes, so, yeah, comments on old posts are fab!

I love getting comments on old posts too. It makes me feel like all the effort I put into posting that, however long ago, was worth it!

I also love comments on old posts.
I just started reading all the mofo posts from the beginning, and I'm commenting on (some of) them too.
And I do the same as ameyfm ;-)
