So I've submitted my blog and I have a theme! Vegan Scotland: veganising Scottish food, eating out and socilaising in Scotland as a vegan. I finally decided on it as it's the independence referendum on 18 September and I'm pretty excited about that.

Me, me!! I almost missed the deadline to sign up bc I'm horrible at remembering to check the PPK about things. But Jojo saved the day. Anyway, I'm doing a Pantry Raid theme (spending as little on groceries as possible ... also, I like that "Pantry Raid" sounds like "pantaloon raid.")

I couldn't come up with a theme so I am going to do a month of top ten lists! Top 10 tacos I love the most, top 10 recipes in my favorite cookbooks. WHATEVER. Hopefully it will be awesome. And not too buzzfeedy.

Yay, I'm excited about this! One of my themes is cooking through your book (it's one of my goals before I turn 40 - I think about 1/4 or 1/3 through)! So maybe I'll do Southern Saturdays again.

Imogen, I'm really looking forward to seeing what you come up with! I usually devote one day a week to British recipes (leaning Scottish) but might not do that this year. But we're probably doing something after the referendum, so I might make something on the Friday. Alan Cummin.g (full stop to avoid the filter) posted a recipe for stovies that I might try. And my husband wants me to make Aberdeenshire (definitely not Yorkshire) parkins. I'm also looking forward to Rosie's posts!

I think I'm gonna do Sunday baking again and Newsday Tuesday - cooking something new to me every Tuesday. Other than that, I don't have definite plans.

Top 10 definitely counts as a theme in my books!

Thanks! Any suggestions for posts gratefully received :) Stovies are certainly on my list. I love the idea of Newsday Tuesday!

My theme is set: Chow Locally! We have a local organization here that calls itself a "food hub". They distribute local, pesticide free produce boxes each week to different locations around the Phoenix area. They have generously offered to donate one box each week of MoFo for me to give away.

I am going to feature recipes made from my weekly box each week. Some will be originals, some may be from other cookbooks - you never know, there might just be a cookbook giveaway thrown in for good measure!

So my local Phoenix readers, make sure you are stopping by the blog all September long for your chance to win a box. I am hoping to have a few other giveaways for non-local readers as well.

Hi everyone!

This is my first year participating in Vegan MoFo. I'm so excited!

My blog is at http://www.KaleandCupcake.com and I'm thinking my theme will be recreating traditional popular dessert recipes as vegan and semi-healthy.

Can't wait to read everyone's posts :)

I'm once again doing McDougall/Esselstyn/FOK type meals, mostly soups. I was debating whether to do the new Esselstyn cookbook that's coming out on Sept 2nd but really like to test a recipe before posting about it, so decided against it.

I don't have time for mofo, which is why I decided to jump on board anyway for the first time in a couple of years. The theme will be crafting loom band jewellery with food. I mean it's not, but that would be fun.

I HOLD YOU TO YOUR THEME.

I don't have any time either, so I decided to do a meal-salad-in-ten-minutes-or-less theme. Hoping to come up with all kinds of crazy creative combinations of legumes, grains, veg, fruit, nuts and dressings to keep it interesting!

Hi everyone! Newbie here and hopefully I got in before the deadline! I sent in my form late on the 27th but haven't heard back or anything?? I'll be joining VeggieSue in cooking though McDougall's Quick and Easy Cookbook. Hopefully I can find a month's worth of new recipes to try. PLUS - as a transplanted New Mexican I just got a case of Hatch Green Chiles so I gotta do something with them too…..if my poor taste buds can handle it. I used to eat this stuff everyday when I lived in ABQ - but since moving to PDX 15 years ago I have became a bit of a wus. How do you spell wus? Woos?

Such awesome themes! I was planning on having hair metal MoFo this year but decided to change it to something that would help me when it comes to finding foods my whole family will eat. So my theme is simply Will My Kids Eat This? where I will blog about stuff I make with honest reviews provided by my children. Which means the word 'fart' may make a few appearances.

Your first post cracked me up! You have such a funny writing style and I loved the diaper dumplings.

Hey y'all! I made an OPML file of all of this year's PPK Mofos. If you're overwhelmed by the idea of nearly 500 new blogs in your RSS reader, you could just upload your PPK mofo pals with this file.

You'll need to use your feed reader's import feature to get 'em in there.

I've had another vegan blog for a while, Lima Bean Lover, but I've recently had to retire it due to complications. In a nutshell, my psycho dad found it (I've been out of contact with him for years) and started harassing me through the blog.

Due to this, I'm starting a new blog called Gallivanting Vegan (link in signature) and I'm just transferring all my Vegan MoFo posts from the old blog. The theme is Disney, which should be fun! I'd appreciate anybody reading/commenting since I'll have to be building up my followers all over again, which is quite daunting.
