The implications are staggering! What if we put together a cookbook as a benefit for something or other. It's a lot to think about, I just wanted to put it out there. We can consider the logistics when MoFo is over this year.

Nice. An original recipe by everyone that blogged? (which would be a monster book) or when people sign up they could sign up to do a Dessert or a Soup, or something and the section could be closed when there were enough signed up (so you don't end up with 300 soups) or limit it to the first XXX to register and sign up for a recipe, or..... Oh, my, and then what to be the charity???? What an immense idea.

I think that would be really neat. I'd love to get my paws on some more PPK-er tested recipes

Love the idea, especially if it would benefit a charity or something.
I think for it to work without being a complete mindfuck, it'd have to be overseen by a small group rather than a free for all contribution project.

So many thoughts. Who would publish? would amandabear be up for the illustrations? who would take the photos? would there be a theme?
Isa, if you do put together a committee type thing to brainstorm further I, like Tamasin above, woudl be happy to assist!

Hmmm... would it be the Vegan MoFo 2010 cookbook? I think it sounds neat... I know a great editor that will work for peanuts or beer!

I think it has to happen! At least as a zine - and like someone else said - for charity!

I think a book would be awesome. There could be various people to oversee and organize each category, ie one for soups, one for entrees, etc. You could keep the number of recipes per section to a limit if desired.

I've had a dream for a long time of doing vegan recipe cards.

Great idea! And there's not just this year's mofo posts, but all the prior years, too.
