I went to the one in Bethlehem once. it was basically an excuse to go to the Vegan Treats store. That one was small. It was nice, but I wouldn't drive out there again just for that. This one looks a lot larger. I was going to go and check it out. There's a Vegan Treats stand in there somewhere.

i went to the first one in... 2011, i think? it took forever to get in (the line for entry went around the block) and once inside it was pretty crowded, but there was a lot of good stuff there. where is it being held this year?

It's being held at the metropolitan pavilion in Chelsea. I'm interested in finding a schedule.. Oh, and I bought a VIP ticket in order to avoid waiting in the long line, VIP tickets are 15-30 dollars depending on if you can find the discount on amazon local.. I didn't see the promo so of course I ended up paying $30.

I am going for the 3rd year. It is always a madhouse, but a good time. If you don't have VIP tix, get there before opening to avoid the monster line. Last year I got there 30-45 min before opening on Sunday and a line was already forming.

i stood online for 2 hours and then was told that it sold out and they had to close doors. I got there at 10:40, so I felt that was kind of ridiculous. I knew I would have to wait but I thought after waiting that long i would be inside! People on the VIP line were also waiting to get in, and they had tickets. I'm really glad I didn't pay for a ticket and still not get in, that is super messed up.

I went the first year and gave up after standing in line forever. and then I just didn't know if it would be worth it to get up so early on a weekend to get there in time. But now it has become my annual meetup with Dynahmite, so I still usually go to manhattan at some point on vegfest weekend :)
