I don't mind crowds, and it was nice to find the hotel's close to TS since boyfriend wants to be in the crowd. I stayed right across from Madam Tussaud's(sp) wax museum last time I was in nyc and it wasn't bad at all. Our room was literally eye level to the sign across the street so it was kind of neat.

ANYway, we'll be happily getting lost on the subway Nov. 18-21. I only wish one of my fav bands was playing or something. Or that the Harry Potter exhibit would still be there.

Definitely go to Maoz and also Kyotofu has really good vegan soft serve and that should be pretty close to where you're staying!

November is a ways off...not sure what type of music you're into, but most clubs and/or DIY spots don't book that far in advance, so you never know who might end up being in town for your time...

Yeah, I'm not the biggest music person but the few bands I listen to aren't going to be there, for sure. Maybe we'll just check out a band we don't know at all.

Where's the best vegan hot chocolate? Do any places make an accidentally vegan hot chocolate?

Cocoa V has THE BEST hot chocolate I've ever had. Hands down. It's insanely good.

Still planning this. I've been procrastinating!

Lots of places have hot chocolate that can be made vegan. I really liked le pain quotidien's cause you get to add the chocolate yourself.
